Amittere Memories (Search for ones Memories)

What’s happening? Everything is filled in darkness, I can hear the breathing of others as they are nearby. I attempt to move my hands apart but they are tied together again. This must be a test of Eon, I cannot fail. I took a deep breath but it is almost impossible as there is something stopping me from speaking. I leaned my head forward slowly as I can hear someone breathing there, I stop myself from shaking as I heard a voice saying “Are you going to stay tied up all day or are you going to get yourself untied?” Its Eon’s voice, I knew it, this is one of her tests. Okay, thought Linda, there is always a way out of her test, you just need to find it. I put my head down towards my feet as I moved them apart slightly, hold on, she forgot to tie up my feet. I looked up with a small smile and tried to speak, if she wants to hear what I am saying, then she has to get closer. As I thought, I can hear her footsteps as she gets closer to me, Eon should know better by now, after all, it has been 6 months. I can feel the air move as she leans in closer to pull off the thing which stops me from speaking my best, I can feel her hands on each side of my face as she unties it, then she pulls away as I whisper to her with a smile

“You should know better than that” Than I move my left leg up and the right leg left and both of them pulled her down to the ground and I had her pinned as I shouted, “UNTIE ME NOW!” She started laughing as she spoke

“Well done Golden Eyes, what now?” She’s right, I just planned this far. Man, she got me again. Suddenly, I just feel her hands grab hold of each leg as she pulls me then in the air, then my chair fell backwards and I knocked my head on the ground as I heard Eon saying “You have to do better than that Golden Eyes if you want to kill Johanne again” I just hit my head back on the floor and spoke

“Don’t you think I know that?” I just feel the chair going back up as Eon untied the blindfold, my eyes free and now I can see the light and her pale, chocolate brown hair as it is up to her shoulders and it is always straight. Her eyes are gravestone grey as there is something about them as they always tell a story of pain, I’m sure that is my eyes now. She is wearing a black jacket and a plain black top with black leggings as it is the earliness thing to fight and run in. I just look at her and she spoke

“But I still don’t think that you are ready still” My eyes widen at her with anger as I just shout

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT READY!! I AM!!”

“You can’t get yourself untipped” Eon answered but I just replied

“Then I won’t get tied up” She just laughed as I asked “Why are you laughing” She just looks at me and answered as she just looked away to the right

“No one can help getting tied up. If we could, then no one will” I just stop myself from speaking, she’s right. I just look down at the ground and said

“Will you come with me then?” Her shoulders went back as her hands are out and wide open with her fingers apart as she asked

“What?” I just look at her as all of my anger went out of my body

“I cannot kill him without help. Not like this” Eon just look at me as she asked me

“Like this? What’s that meant to mean?” My eyes widen as I remembered what Leonardo told me about her wanting to kill every Lamia and that she would try and kill me when she finds out the truth. I just spoke quickly

“You know, that I have been all upset about my baby girl or boy” She just knelt down in front of me and said

“You sure about that?” I just look her in the eyes and asked

“How much do you like me?” I know that she will not kill me now, after all, we have spent 6 months training together. But she just stood up and spoke as she faces away and had her back to me

“You are like my little sister, why?” She looks back at me as I look down and said

“I cannot keep lying to you about who I am” She just turned around and just look right at me and spoke

“You can tell me anything Golden Eyes” I smiled but I am not too sure about this. My body shakes as I closed my eyes, I can feel them changing but for some reason, I cannot open them, why? Suddenly, I just feel Eon’s hands on each of my arms as I hear her voice saying “You don’t have to tell me now, tell me when you are ready” All the sudden, my eyes turned back golden and they opened as I smiled towards her. I spoke

“I think of you as my big sister but I do have to tell you something. In case it happens”

“What is it?” Eon asked but I cannot do it. What is stopping me? But there is something else that I need to tell her also. I answered as I look right into her eyes

“I might forget you in the future” She just leaned back as I carried on speaking “You see, I have this curse on my memories and I do not know who put it on me. Well I don’t think so anyway, but I don’t know of someone who might know but I keep forgetting to ask him” She just started walking around me as she untied me and stood back up, so did I as she said

“It’s Leonardo, isn’t it? He knows who placed that curse on you doesn’t he?” I just look at her and said

“How did you know?” I cannot believe that she got that. Then she spoke as she started walking towards the door

“I had a feeling” What did I just do? I just put Leonardo in the doghouse, I think anyway. I just started walking towards the door but stopped as I just looked over to my left to another person tipped up on a chair. It is a boy and it looks like he is knocked out. Should I help him or just let him be? Then I took a closer looked at him as I can see his scruffy, long tree brown hair as it goes down to his neck, but it looks like that he has been here for a while. But then I took a closer look at his clothes, he is wearing a jet black suit with cuts, dry up mood and blood and a snow white shirt which is covered in wet blood but then I notice that there was no tie. Why do I feel like I should know him? I started walking towards him slowly, I keep looking around to see that no one sees me, as I gotten only two steps away, I leaned in and pulled off the two eye packs that blinded him from seeing, I just step back quickly as I know that cut up face. Dr James, can it be? All the sudden, he opened his eyes and they are ocean blue, it is Dr James, oh my god. Elizabeth had him this whole time, why? Why did she keep this a secret? Did Leonardo know? I spoke

“Oh my God, Dr James, is that you?” He licks his lips and spoke as he just looked down at the floor

“Miss Goldenbird, have I become another forgotten memory? It’s so good to hear your voice” Oh my god, it is you. I just run behind him and quickly untied him, he just fell to the ground face first. I just run around the chair and thrown his right arm over my left shoulder and grab hold of his right hand with my right hand as pulled him up. I just look at his face and asked

“How long have you been here?” He spoke quietly as both eyes are closed

“Did you kill him? Did you kill Johanne?” Since that night. For 12 months she has kept him here. I spoke as I gotten a better hold of him

“Your safe now, I am going to get you out of here” I started walking but stopped as he pushed himself away from me and threw himself to the floor as he spoke

“No Miss Goldenbird. She will kill you if you walk out that door with me” I just look at him confused, why would anyone do this to you? I leaned over to him and pick him back up in the same way and said

“Stop complaining, I am getting you out of here if it kills me okay. I never leave a dear friend behind, you got it” He just smiled as his eyes closed and his body just lost all control as he is out cold. I have to get him out of here, after everything that you have done for me, it’s my time to save you. I restart walking again, I am just two steps away from the door, I just wish that Leonardo sees us first and helps me to get past everyone in that room and out the front door as there is no back door. I pushed the door open with my left hand and it seem to open slowly as I can see everyone looking at the door as they was just waiting for me to walk out. I just look over to Dr James and back at them as I just walked, everyone just moves out of the way as every face hold the looked of shock as they had idea that he was even in there, step by step, a new person moves out of my way. I thought that they will try and stop me, not show me the way out. What is happening? I look back to the stairs which leads to Elizabeth’s office and saw Eon and Elizabeth just standing there, just watching me take Dr James away from them. What is going on? I look back forward and I can see the door, I am almost out, just 10 steps away from saving Dr James. I got to the door and put my left hand on the handle and quickly opened the door and smiled as I took one step past the doorway and took another but all the sudden, Dr James flew back into the room and out of my hands, I quickly turned around as two people just walked towards Dr James, I went running back in but I just flew back as I cannot get back in. I shouted as I got back up “NO!!” But stop at the doorway as Leonardo just walked in the out and just look at me and said

“One day you will understand why I am doing this” I just look at him as I shake my head and look past his left shoulder at Dr James as they pulled him back to that room. I just look back at Leonardo’s eyes and asked as my eyes started to tear up

“Why? He was our friend. We went in battle with us to kill Johanne” Leonardo just stepped back and closed the door. I dropped down to the ground and yelled “WHY?!!” I can feel my eyes changing blood red and all the sudden, I cannot control my actions as I stood up and punched the door off the flame. Leonardo quickly ducked as the door flown all the way to the stairs, it just miss Elizabeth and Eon as both of them look at me as I took one step in the room and then another step, I am past the doorway as I just stood there with both of my eyes open and blood red as everything is red. I just look around the room, I can see Eon looking at me shocked as Elizabeth is smiling, than I can see the door which holds Dr James in. I started walking towards the door, everyone is moving out of the way in fear but I stopped as I feel someone grabbing hold of my right hand, I slowly look behind me to see Leonardo as he spoke

“You’re making a mistake” I just turned round and answered back as I just looked towards Elizabeth

“I won’t leave a friend behind” I leaned forwards with my right leg in front of the left as I push myself off the floor and towards Dr James and the two people who hold him. Fear took over them as they were about to let him go and run away but Elizabeth just shouted as I carried on

“EON! STOP HER NOW!!!” I just paused as I heard something behind me, I slowly turned to see Eon standing there on the floor as she looks at me. I asked her

“Why? All I am doing is trying to save my friend before they kill him” She only look at straight at me as she started walking, step by step is filled with her silence. I just held my ground as I know the stories of what happens to every Lamia who runs. She is only 5 steps away from me now and she still hasn’t said a word, but I started speaking as she stops walking “Look at him, they are killing him, if he loses anymore blood then he will die and I will not let that happen to Dr James. You will not stop me” Suddenly, Eon started laughing as she spoke between each breath

“Why would I want to do that? I have been waiting for someone to say that, I want to help you” Everyone shouted what but the only people who didn’t was Leonardo, Elizabeth and myself. Instead Elizabeth spoke

“I knew deep down that I couldn’t trust you after you met Linda. Something change in you that day as she punched you” Eon just looked at me as she said

“I knew since that day that you was a Lamia but you were different, the stories of you are true” All of a sudden, Eon just went on her right knee as she bows down with her right arm on her stomach, I look up from Eon to see everyone else bowing at the sight of Eon bowing, everyone but Leonardo and Elizabeth. I asked as I walked to Eon and kneeled down

“Why are you bowing?” She spoke with no pause

“Because I have asked the Gods for you, the girl who killed Johanne once and the girl who can kill him again with the help of her friends. You not leaving Dr James behind shows me that you are that girl. I believe that you will kill that monster again” I stand up straight as I pulled Eon up as well, I turned round to look at Dr James as the two boys who held him are walking towards me, they slowly put him in my arms as I spoke

“Thank you” I just look to him as he said

“I knew that you would be the one who would bring me home” Then he blacked out but I didn’t care as I have made a promise to get him out of here. I turned round to Eon grabbing his left arm and putting it round her right shoulder as I had the other, we both started walking at the same time as we head to the door of freedom. As we pass Leonardo who is only looking at me, I couldn’t help but to look back at him and Elizabeth, they are my past and Eon is part of my new team as they have let me down. As I look ahead of me, I just heard Leonardo’s voice shouting

“WAIT! EON STOP!! DON’T LEAVE!!!” I look over at Eon who is in silence as there isn’t a single tear showing as she just forces on the door ahead which is only less than 10 steps away from us. I just look at the door and remembered that he can’t pass the flame, I closed my eyes and reopen them as my sight is filled with red and my Lamia strength took over and I just pulled Dr James off Eon and in both of my arms and jumped through the door flame. We are through, as I land on my back, I turned round and put Dr James on the ground slowly, after that I turned round to see Eon having trouble crossing the flame, I spoke to myself but loud enough for her to hear

“No, hold on” As I started walking, I could see Leonardo moving as well. I speed up as my Lamia eyes started to show, but I stop as Eon shouted

“GO!! IF LEONARDO MAKES IT TO YOU, DR JAMES IS BACK OVER THERE!!! GO!!!” My Lamia eyes turned back to golden as I said

“I will come back for you” Her eyes filled with tears as she said

“Forget about me, I am meant to be along in this world, that is how I have made it this far. JUST GO!!” I quickly got Dr James round my neck and look back at Eon as Leonardo pulled her back and pushed her to the floor as she just look at me and yelled “JUST GO!!” I look forwards and started running. As we pass the front door and into the outside, I promise Leonardo, I promise Elizabeth, I will kill you both and I will get Eon back.
