Chapter 1

Chapter One

No matter how many times I repeat it, my question remains the same: Do you like me? But do you dare to fall in love with your enemy?

***

“What the hell are you winking at? Do you want me to gauge your eyes?” The hostility in Beu’s voice spiraled as he grabbed the tall student’s collar and yanked him forcefully. Their faces almost collided from the force of the large impact.

His friends gathered, circling between them to prevent the teachers from seeing what was happening, like they always do as a support for Beu.

The tall student, whose eyes were covered in thick black-rimmed glasses, looked at Beu flatly, ignoring the sneering from the students gathered around them.

This made Beu even more furious. He was on the stage talking when this tall student looked at him like he was a sick pervert, waking up the beast within Beu.

“How high is your vision that you could see what I am doing from afar? Are you sure that I am looking at you? And with all these students, your gaze only focuses on me? Do you like me?” The tall guy’s lips twitched into a provocative smirk.

The unruly boys laughed, but Beu was amused in anger. He found it interesting that there was someone who tried to reason with him. His grip on the collar hardened. “What did you say?”

The tall student grinned. There was no fear in his eyes as he looked at Beu interestingly. He peeled the fingers that were gripping the collar one by one before leaning closer to his ears.

“I said, do you like me?”

Beu was frozen to the ground and couldn’t speak. He didn’t expect that guy would talk nonsense and fuck! Why can’t he refute that?!

Before he could turn and grab that guy again, the student was already far ahead and walking with their classmates.

“What the hell happened, Beu?” Matthew, who was near him but didn’t hear what that student said, asked in deep curiosity.

“Who’s that fucker?” he asked. Irritation filled his handsome face as his eyes followed the figure that was already disappearing towards Block C, where their classroom is.

“Lucian Anderson. A transferee and two years older than you. He has been here for a week already, since the day you skipped school.”

Beu turned to Charles, the only serious one in his group of rowdy friends. He didn’t know why this guy hung out with them when he was one of the top students in their class.

Before he could speak, they saw the disciplinary teacher walk over, so the crowded students started walking messily towards their room.

“Lucian Anderson?” Beu repeated as he took out a lollipop and put it in his mouth. It is hard to avoid smoking, but he is trying if he still wants the car his father confiscated from him.

His allowance was also cut off because of the accident he had caused due to the illegal motogp race he had done three months ago.

It was an accident, but Beu sent one racer to the hospital when their motorcycle collided. He was lucky that he didn’t sustain injuries, but his motorcycle was in a wreck.

He has a very important race next month, so he needed a new one, but his money was not enough. The week that he didn’t go to school was when he was helping his mother in business, and fortunately, that earned him a brand new Ducati GP.

He knew his mother loved him very much and gave him everything he wanted, but she only needed Beu’s presence sometimes.

His parents were divorced, but his father won the rights to Beu, so he grew up with his old man. Since he took another wife, Beu seldom went home, only staying in his dorm or his friend’s house.

The walk to class is not long. Only he and Charles were in the same class, while the others were far from him. Beu might be a tyrant and a school wreck, but still, he didn’t let his studies go down. He is also one of the top students in his class, like Charles.

Upon nearing his seat, he noticed that there were piles of books on the other side of the desk, with the student sitting on the chair reading a supplementary book.

His brows furrowed deeply, and he quickly walked over.

“Fuck! Get up! Who the hell told you that you could sit on my chair?” Beu kicked the base of the table, and the books that were piled high slowly dropped on the ground. He ignored it. The growing irritation he felt for the tall guy he met outside lashed out towards this unfortunate student.

He watched as the student took the book away from his face, but that made Beu’s irritation rocket to the highest level. Lucian!

“You!”

The guy lifted the corner of his mouth. “I am not You, I’m Lucian, your new deskmate.” He winked at him in a flirtatious way before moving to the other side of the desk, but not standing. “Here, you can sit. Don’t worry, I don’t bite, I just—”

“I will bite you to death if you keep talking bullshit.” Beu leaned in, demonstrating his dominance. He thought Lucian would cower, but under those thick eyeglasses, his eyes were only defying him.

Beu looked at the crumpled collar and didn’t hesitate to grip it again, pulling Lucian forcefully.

“If you keep pissing me off, I will make sure that you will live in hell.”

Lucian looked at him calmly. “I can take you there if you want, Beu Collymore.”

Beu was silent. Inwardly surprised that this guy could act calm in front of him, unlike the others who cowered at just his one look. Who is this fucker? Doesn’t he know his reputation? That he could break a man by no easy means?

“Darn it! I left my phone in the music room! You two go ahead, and I’ll be back in a minute.” Lucian turned and ran back after he finished speaking, leaving his classmates baffled.

Rushing towards the music room on the second floor of building C, where their classes are, Lucian could only think that no one had touched his phone. Or else, he’s dead if someone sees all his secrets in there.

He had just transferred here three months ago, and because he was not the type of student who loitered around, he was still not familiar with most of the places on the campus.

Music class ended fifteen minutes ago, and fortunately, no one used the room after their class.

The light was off, and the whole room was dark. Lucian used the light from the hallway to move himself around and arrived at the seat he had been sitting in earlier.

It was in the back row, and his phone had dropped on the floor. Just as he was about to pick it up, he heard the door open, and it was followed by whispering voices.

“Shh… You don’t want someone to hear us, do you? Don’t worry, it’s just a kiss, I’ll be quick.”

Lucian raised his brow and quietly chuckled upon hearing that familiar voice. It was Beu, the very guy sitting next to him in class. His enemy since the very first day he set foot in school.

And now, hearing him sneaking in the dark to make out with some girls, Lucian finds him even more amusing. Instead of going out after picking up his phone, Lucian decided to stay and watch the show, secretly.

“Beu, what if someone suddenly—”

“I said, no one!” Beu’s voice suddenly became threatening, scaring the girl into submission.

Lucian heard the girl whimpering before soft moans followed as the two engaged in their own world. He could only twitch his lips as he painfully listened to the sound of their kisses.

Lucian thought it would end after five minutes of kissing, but he didn’t expect that the two would actually do it all the way in.

As Lucian listened to the sound of body slapping and soft moans from the girl, his mind was filled with Beu’s handsome face. What would Beu look like if he were writhing underneath him, wet with sweat, and his face covered in cum?

Lucian had always fantasized about Beu, but he hadn’t had a chance to make a move on him, as Beu was straight as a flagpole.

The slapping sound ended after fifteen minutes with no one disrupting them, and Lucian was still listening quietly.

“You go out first and don’t contact me unless I do.”

Lucian, who was listening at the back, frowned. This guy is really a womanizer. When the girl left, Beu lit a cigarette, and that’s when Lucian made a noise. He coughed.

“Who’s there!?” Beu’s loud voice echoed inside the music room as he stood abruptly and stared at Lucian’s figure, who was hidden in the dark.

“Was that fun? Having a quickie inside the music room?” Lucian asked in a teasing yet mysterious voice. “What if the teacher knew about this, Beu Collymore?”

“It’s you, Lucian Anderson!” Beu’s face was immediately filled with anger. “What did you see?” Beu walked towards him, every step telling that he was livid.

“Why? If I tell you that I saw everything, and…” Lucian lifted his phone, waving it at Beu.

“You fucker!” Beu ran, and in a matter of seconds, he was there in front of Lucian. He didn’t even say anything and quickly grabbed Lucian by his collar before slamming him hard against the wall. “You dare to record us?”

Instead of being scared because he was threatened, Lucian only twitched his lips in a sardonic smile.

“Want me to delete it? Why should I when…” He leaned against Beu’s ear and softly whispered, his voice low and deep like an ocean. “Why should I delete it when you looked so hot in it?” He blew a hot breath inside his ear, making Beu shudder.

Beu’s hand, which was holding Lucian, froze. “You pervert!” Beu’s hand flew, and it hit Lucian’s face in an instant.

The pain didn’t shatter Lucian’s imagination about Beu, but it only heightened. He likes violence, as he was also one.

“I could be a pervert to you, too, Beu. Do you want to try it?”

Beu pushed Lucian hard on the ground before kicking him in the stomach and leaving the music room, full of anger. He didn’t realize that Lucian was inside the music room too.

Fuck that asshole! Why does he always have to step on his nerves?

They have been deskmates for three months, and in those months, Beu would disturb and bully Lucian, but the guy is tough.

He not only fights back, but instead, he also likes it when Beu pays him attention.

When Beu was out of the music room, Lucian laughed out loud, like he was deranged and possessed by evil spirits as he took his phone and started typing messages.

His brother, who was in a coma because of the accident caused by Beu.

“Don’t worry, Lucas. You just sleep ahead, and I will take care of Beu. I will make him pay for the damage he caused to you!”
