Let's Talk
Have you ever felt this way?
Your legs can’t move.
It’s not that you are physically incapable; it’s just that you are darn exhausted.
You squirt paste onto your brush and force it into your mouth, but you end up staring at your reflection, standing utterly confused and immobile.
You drag your entire body to breakfast by some miracle, but you can feel your insides screaming at you. Sometimes, instead of the blaring inner voice, there are just silent streaks of warm tears skating down your cheeks.
Life feels all wrong, but you can’t put a finger on it.
Hope feels rationed, and you are convinced that happiness is just an illusion.
You ask yourself everyday, “Better days are ahead, right?“, but each time your question grows softer.
The idea of having to explain all of this to another human being seems incredibly daunting, pointless, and exhausting; So, you feel it’s best to keep it to yourself.
You know that you need help, but you are not sure where to start.
You are not against therapy by principle, but the idea of having to shell out money, sit with a stranger, and to strike a rapport and empty your vulnerable dump seems “illogical”.
"Maybe it will be all over soon.", you try to convince yourself.
And yet, it never is.
