Harry Potter-The Curse of the Intrusive Gryffindor

Another year at Hogwarts, a new beginning and a new school year.

Percy Weasley was in his seventh year. The weather at Hogwarts was cold and rainy, and he had a mountain of papers to organize. After finishing his classes for the day and eating his dinner at the Gryffindor table, while adjusting his tie and muttering to himself, "Organization first," he decided to go to the library to study a little more. He entered the forbidden section after using a simple spell he had stolen from his brother Fred years before, just to prove to himself that he could break the rules only once

The place was eerily quiet, the candles flickering, the shelves thick with dust. He walked slowly among them, his fingers tracing the covers of old books that smelled of aged, musty leather. Suddenly, he stopped before a large book, its heavy black cover bound with real iron chains. Above the cover, in bloody red letters, were written: "Do not open – Dangerous warning – Forbidden to students – Read will regret it." Below were more warnings: "This book devours curiosity," "Touch it and you'll lose your mind," "A curse awaits the meddlesome Gryffindors." .

Percy, the Gryffindor whose curiosity was killing him despite his desire to appear organized, stood thinking for long seconds. His heart pounded, he told himself, "It's just a book... nothing will happen... I can control the situation." He reached out his trembling hand, untied the chains with a light incantation, and opened to the first page.

The book was filled with terrifying legends. Page after page: ferocious, faceless creatures, their bodies made of black smoke and iron claws, emerged from the walls and dragged students into the darkness. Living chains moved on their own, slithering down the corridors, wrapping themselves around victims' legs and slowly breaking their bones. Flying knives with their own minds chased after anyone who tried to escape, severing their fingers one by one while laughing with a metallic sound. Every page was filled with horrifying animation; the colors moved, and blood dripped from the paper.

He reached the last page, written in large black letters: "Congratulations, you are now under the curse of Hogwarts. You will live through everything you have read. You have only one week to break the curse, or you will be locked away forever inside the castle with your new creatures."

Percy slammed the book shut, his hands trembling, his face as white as paper. He replaced the chains, wiped his hands on his suit, and left the library, muttering, "This is just imagination... old books... nothing will happen." He returned to Gryffindor Tower, drank a glass of warm water, adjusted his pillow ten times, and went to sleep, telling himself, "Tomorrow everything will be normal."
