"This novella is a lovely, well-rounded story about a vampire warrior princess who discovers that her mate is a werewolf leader and her father's sworn enemy. It's short, sweet, and spicy, with the spice well-dosed and in all the right places. Even though it's a short read, I found myself quickly falling in love with Valerie and Tristan, both as characters and as a couple. I'm genuinely looking forward to the next installment in the series."
