Never Enough
I woke to faint sunlight glistening through the gap of my curtains. A narrow pathway of light shone on the naked bodies surrounding me. A sea of men exhausted from their evening activities.
I firmly removed their limps from my naked body and went to wrap a robe around myself. I stood surveying the dozens of vampires, all useless for my needs. Not once did they satisfy my hunger.
Every few months a desire so great rolls through me that I need multiple men to try and quench it, yet they never do.
I replayed memories from last night over in my head, forcing them between my legs and when that didn’t work kicking them away for another to try. Then when their tongues were no use it was their dicks I tried. I rode them hard, so hard I swore I snapped someone. Then they thrust into me with their vampire speed but it wasn’t enough… never enough!
Feeling frustrated I kicked the nearest thing I could find. A bucket spilled on the floor and disgust coursed through me, it was their cum. My rule when being with me is that they don’t cum in me or anywhere on me. Seeing that bucket almost full made me want to gag.
Stepping away from the trickling cum I yelled to the sleeping bodies.
‘OUT!’
Bodies frantically moved, grabbing clothes and scurrying out of the door in fear. One good thing about my reputation is that there’s no lingering goodbyes.
When everyone had hastily made their retreat I washed and dressed before heading to my breakfast room.

I draped across a chair, my legs hanging over the arm while my head fell backwards off the other. ‘Why are men so useless? None can scratch my itch!’ I complained.
Cathy laughed and handed me a goblet of blood. ‘Perhaps you just haven’t found the right person yet?’ Her sweet voice said, yet her voice did nothing to stop my frustration.
‘Or maybe you just need my dick next time.’ Samuel smirked across the table at me. I raised a brow, I didn’t want sex with him but maybe he was right, he’s possibly one of the only male vampires I haven’t had sex with.
As he raised a brow at my silence I sat upright and took a swig of the blood. ‘Samuel I snapped someone’s dick last night, you couldn’t handle me.’
His eyes widened in horror as he subtly adjusted his arse on the chair. Cathy spat her drink out across the table in shock.
‘Something’s are best left untouched Sam.’ Weston added, placing a gentle kiss to my cheek before taking his own goblet and sitting next to me.
‘If we’re talking about Valerie here who kept the whole castle awake last night with her antics I agree with Weston. From what I heard, there’s no way you could keep up with her.’ Gregory added sliding into the other seat next to me.
I raised a brow at him. ‘Were you listening in on me, you pervert?’
‘Hard not to, those guys were loud this time.’ Gregory smirked while drinking his whole goblet in one go. ‘Where are the girls?’ He asked.
‘Still sleeping, I let them lie in, it’s not often we get a comfy bed.’ Cathy replied. We all sighed at that. We’re normally travelling and fighting so the ground is our bed. A soft mattress is a luxury for my group.
I sat upright sensing Gregory’s mood shift. When he spoke it was as a warrior not a friend.
‘There’s an uprising in the west with another group of wolves. There’s rumors of the Alpha being there.’
‘The Alpha?!’ Samuel snapped. ‘He hasn’t been seen in years!’
’I know. Valerie, we need to lead this, imagine what would happen if he was in the wrong hands.’ Gregory’s voice was laced with concern. He was right, we had to capture the Alpha first. He could change everything.
‘I’ll see my father now. We’ll lead it. Get ready, wake Jen and Kira.’ I stood and walked briskly from the room and went back to my bedroom which was still smelling of sex and put on my fighting leathers and shelthed my daggers.
With a roll of my shoulders I mentally put on the mask I wear with almost everyone. With my shoulders straight I strode through the castle as though I owned it, which as the heir I suppose I do.
I marched straight to my father’s council chambers, the guards instantly averted their gazes and moved aside quickly. With an almighty shove of the doors I swung them open disrupting whatever conversation the old vampires were having.
My father was sitting at the long table facing me from the other side of the room, I bowed my head in respect, but showed none to the other vampires in the room. To me, they are beneath me and I won’t give them any power over me by thinking anything else.
‘My darling daughter. What do we owe the pleasure?’ His voice was slimy, he sounded kind but really he’s only happy with me because of my last accomplishment of destroying a rebel wolf base. One wrong move and he’d be spitting on my broken bones.
‘Father, I have heard of an uprising in the west. I’m asking permission to take my warriors there to deal with it.’
The gaze lingered on mine for too long, I grew uncomfortable but I didn’t let it show, instead I made myself look bored by the wait.
‘Very well daughter. Slaughter the mutts.’
I nodded and spun on my heels leaving the cold, stuffy room.
My feet didn’t lead me back to my friends but to my mother. I couldn’t leave again so soon without saying bye to her and my sisters.
Mother was the opposite to my father, she was a wonderful woman who I love dearly. She was made to marry my father to provide a powerful alliance and heirs to the vampire kingdom. To my father her task was complete so she’s left to herself mainly which she is happy about.
Her living quarters were the farthest side of the castle, as far away from father as possible, which worked fine for mother. The guards on her door quickly scuffled away scared as I approached. Once inside I slammed the door shut and waited.
It didn’t take long for my two little sisters to run into my arms. Kneeling on the floor I embraced both their small frames while giggling. Their wavy black hair smothered my face causing me to try and blow it away.
Their laughter filled the room and instantly warmed my heart, their happiness was everything to me. Slowly I pulled back and looked at their beautiful faces, all three of us had been blessed with mother’s looks, they had dads grey, blue eyes though. Whereas mine were grey and purple showing more of my witch heritage.
My mother is a witch, and uses her magic to keep my sisters safe from him. She keeps him blissfully unbothered by them, sadly it didn’t work with me. He was and still is, very interested in me and my gifts. I inherited some magic from her but my vampire side is far more dominant. It does make me a strong warrior though, which is what he uses me for.
My sisters are kind, mothers influence was strong in them thank goodness. With me being my fathers ruthless warrior he’s left my sisters alone. If I did one step out of line they would suffer the consequences and I couldn’t let that happen. They were too pure and innocent.
Standing behind my sisters was my mother. Long black straight hair like mine, she wore a long sleeved red floor length dress and the smile she wore on her face was genuine and made me feel like a child again.
‘Mother.’ I said as I rose from the floor to embrace her.
‘Valerie, I’ve missed you.’ She said while holding me tightly.
‘I’ve missed you. I’m sorry, I’m leaving already.’ I muttered against her neck.
I felt her tense and pull back. Her eyes focused on mine intently.
‘On your fathers wishes?’ She asked.
‘No, it’s mine. We might have found the Alpha.’ I said quietly so only she would hear. Mother had her rooms sound proofed and safe from prying ears but I had to be careful with such news.
Her eyes widened. ‘This could end the war.’ She said, she let go of my arms and moved quickly to her drawer to collect her velvet bag of seeing stones.
‘Come sit Valerie.’ She motioned to the seat opposite her at the same round table by the window. Me and her had used the seeing stones many times before, at every opportunity she would teach me the ways of her powers.
Both our hands held the stones and we spoke the spell. A faint glow appeared around our fingers and simultaneously we dropped the stones onto the table.
I was puzzled. I knew some of the stones’ meanings but a few were confusing. I looked at my mother who looked very intrigued.
‘What do you see?’ She whispered as I narrowed my eyes at the stones again.
‘I see pain and sorrow.’ I stated. Mother nodded, the stones were always vague, whose pain and sorrow? I’ll only know when it happens. Let’s hope it’s not mine or someone I care about.
She pointed to a cluster of four stones which had gathered together. ‘This one is interesting Valerie. I believe you will find someone important. Perhaps the Alpha, or perhaps someone who will be important in a different way for you.’
My eyebrows raised. That was interesting, someone important. It had to be the Alpha. I nodded and stood quickly from the table.
‘I should leave, mother.’
Closing the space between us she took my hands in hers. ‘Find him and protect the Grove, Valerie.’
‘I will mother. I will end this war.’ I kissed her on the cheek and then said my goodbyes to my sisters who were playing with dolls next to the fire.
