Chapter 1

Prologue: The Beginning (1927)

The year was 1927.

It began without warning.

The ground trembled violently, as if the earth itself had awakened from a deep slumber. People rushed out of their homes, confusion and fear spreading like wildfire.

And then… it appeared.

A massive stairway of light erupted from the ground, stretching endlessly toward the sky.

No one could understand what they were witnessing.

At the very top of that impossible stairway… was something far worse.

A dark, swirling anomaly— the Void Gate.

A gate that radiated nothing but emptiness… and terror.

Moments later, the gate opened.

From the darkness within… monsters emerged.

What followed was nothing short of devastation.

Within days, an entire nation was wiped out.

Humanity was powerless. Hopeless.

Just when extinction seemed inevitable… something changed.

A small number of humans began to awaken.

They could feel it— the elements responding to their will.

Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Lightning.

These individuals were soon called— Heroes.

But not all awakenings were the same.

Some gained abilities that did not belong to any element. Powers that were… different. Unique. Beyond understanding.

And across the entire world— there were only seven such individuals.

They came to be known as— Hero Gods.

The seven Hero Gods stood together against the Void.

They fought relentlessly. They sealed the chaos. They pushed back the monsters. They gave humanity a second chance.

To protect the future, they established— Anti-Void Academies across every continent.

These academies would train the next generation of Heroes.

But despite their god-like power… the Hero Gods were still human.

And humans… are not immortal.

Then one day— a Hero God died.

And with that, the world discovered a terrifying truth:

When a Hero God dies… their power is reborn within a random individual.

Chapter 1: The Chosen One

The year was 2026.

Chaos had spread across the AISA Continent ever since the fall of the Hero God, Maytas.

No one knew where his power had gone. No one knew who the next Hero God would be.

But everyone was searching.

In a quiet corner of the city… far from the noise and panic—

Lived a boy named Misen.

Messy black hair. Deep blue eyes.

An introvert by nature, he preferred silence over people. If it were up to him, he would stay inside his room forever.

But the world… never moves according to anyone’s wishes.

Monday Morning

Sunlight slowly filled Misen’s room as he opened his eyes.

“…Another boring day,” he muttered.

But something felt… different.

A faint glow flickered in front of him.

Misen blinked.

And then—

He froze.

Floating before him… was a tiny glowing fairy.

The Encounter

“Good morning, Misen.”

The voice was soft.

Misen stared in disbelief.

“…What?”

“Am I dreaming?”

The fairy smiled gently.

“No. This is real.”

The Guide Appears

The fairy floated closer, her light shimmering softly.

“My name is Lyra… your assigned guide.”

Misen sat up instantly.

“Guide? For what?”

Lyra’s expression turned serious.

“You have been chosen.”

The Truth

Silence filled the room.

“…Chosen? For what?” Misen asked.

Lyra answered—

“You have inherited the power of the fallen Hero God… Maytas.”

The Power

Misen frowned.

“…What power?”

Lyra looked straight into his eyes.

“Teleportation.”

Misen blinked.

“…So I can just move from one place to another?”

Lyra gave a faint smile.

“That… is only one percent of its true power.”

Beyond Understanding

The air around her shimmered slightly.

“Teleportation is not just movement, Misen…” she said softly. “It is the authority over space itself.”

“To exist… and not exist.” “To reach places that should not even exist.”

“It is one of the most powerful abilities in existence.”

The Question

Misen looked down at his hands.

His normal life… suddenly felt distant.

Then he looked back at Lyra.

“Wait.”

“Why me?”

“Why did I get this power?”

The Rule

Lyra went silent for a moment.

Then she spoke quietly—

“Because… that is the rule.”

Misen frowned.

“That’s it?”

Lyra shook her head.

“There are things I cannot tell you.”

“I am only a guide.”

The Beginning

Outside, the world was in chaos.

Inside that small room…

A new Hero God had awakened.

And he had no idea— what kind of war awaited him.
