I was listening, breathing, and drinking,g enjoying my friend’s company on the ship, even smiling when I blushed, but the tables turned when I was asked about my past. I sighed, and at first, I was silent for a long time, almost like I wasn’t gonna answer. Then I put down my cup and pulled out a small. pack of smokes but not the traditional kind, and pounded it before I pulled out a specific black tube and put it in my mouth and lit it before I took a breath and spoke.

I blew the smoke out and continued as the boat rocked slightly. “This is where the story of the Night Children gains its stride because, during the Christmas yule of the year of a year, I will never forget a group of bad men that hunted the girl and came to the. home and torched the house, and soon after it was revealed we lost the family heads, and the three siblings became orphans....” I stopped for a sec and took another hit, wiped a tear away, and took a deep breath, my world elsewhere. “After The children, Selena and Caleb and the little girl went into an orphanage unable to play to live we were forced to live as children in a group with two kids Judas and Sarah and it became their home..then holiday season came and the kids were attacked and Caleb and Selena were black bagged and taken away leaving the girl alone to hunt them and seek them...well if you haven’t figured it out that little girl was me is me and will forever be me”
But my mind just for a second went to when Sarah during our years of high school. It had been about a few months and a half at sea, and our aim to get to Hawaii was on track. We were in the middle of the ocean passing Florida, United States, and it was a shock how fast the time passed. I heard a snap, and I looked over at Jade. “Yelllo earth to Kali, your zoning” and I shook my head at them being Jade Markus Quinn Sarah Blair, that’s when Sarah looked at me and then so did the others, and I nodded and she spoke. “there’s a lot of danger in our life story, but Kali and I are...slightly known for our story” It couldn’t be helped,
after making my own...drama, and then dropping it? Yeah, it ended up that I brought the ones involved and told them the story, and Sarah joined in, and Jade spoke first. “In terms of royalty, you are tied with me on the power scale.” I nodded at that, and before long, we were heading to the bunks. For the first time in a long time I didn’t dream, I don’t know if that was a good thing or a bad thing, the rocking motion made me sleepy, but I just couldn’t go to sleep, so at the dead of night, I was on my feet and walking up the steps towards the deck and when I entered into the
deck, the light of the full moon shined onto the wooden deck of the ship that my bare feet was walking through it, my toenails and fingernails shined slightly in the light. They were the same color as they were in my past; my toenails were bluish, and my long fingers were decorated by green fingernails, both colors of my eyes that I showed. I sighed and took a brush to my long crimson hair, and sighed, looking up at the moon and then back to the sea as we were passing Cities...cities?
I looked at the maps that I was viewing, and sure enough, we were starting to head into charted waters, US water.s Finally, I looked with wide-eyed at the bright light of the land and nodded as we were heading into the coast of Florida
I got on my feet and ran into the bunker where the rest of my “mates” were sleeping, and I made the loudest scream possible. “LAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNDDDDDD HOOOOOOOEEEEEE” and....no one stirred, shit just my luck not even my loudest is loud, so I ran to Sarah, and pushed her awake, and she woke with a stir. “Babe, what is it?” she asked, and I nodded and spoke to get everyone’s attention. “We hit land’ and instantly;y her world flitted open
“Land? Where, who, what do we do?” I explained that we had to wake the rest of the others, and sure enough, I woke Sarah, who woke Quinn, who woke Jade, and before long, everyone was stirring and the rumors were flying. Sure enough, I had a crowd of people up and was rather annoyed. “Jeez, don’t you realize what time it is?” Jade asked, wiping her eyes at me, and so did Quinn, Markus, and the rest, who did a good job of waking and making themselves a villain. The last thing you want to do is wake people up on a pirate ship, on the high seas. I nodded, and in front of everyone, I felt the need to hide in a hole somewhere. That was when Jade stepped up next to me and so did Sarah, and I felt support. “HUSH IT!!” they all said, and that’s when the reason I was on board came to. “Finally, I looked over at all, and I counted down till we all said
“LAAAAND HOE!!” and that’s when we all started to rush out of the deck and we all viewed the coast of the United States by this time we were all on deck and looking at it, we were all looking at New Orleans, it was lit with fire, color and just exotic looks, the people were all dressed in bright colors, dark colors, heels, shoes, some had no clothes some had some clothes and some had no clothes, as we looked at the sky the moon was the night light of the town that brought it was about 10:15 pm as excited as I was for it, I could see the look in my Girlfriends eyes, and honestly I think she was wrong this time.
