Chapter 1 (Day 1)
**Y/n's POV**
“Mom, can we go for a short drive up the parkway?” I asked, giving her my best puppy eyes. “Sure, let’s go,” she replied as she grabbed her jacket. We walked outside and got into the car. It was nighttime.

As we drove up the parkway, I spotted something red in the grass by the road. “Mom, stop!” I exclaimed. “Why?” she asked as she applied the brakes. I opened the car door and stepped outside to investigate the creature, which resembled Bloodmoon from the Sun and Moon show. He didn’t appear to be hurt. I gently shook him awake. “Ugh, where are we, brother? Who are you, human?!” Bloodmoon said, sounding confused. “Hi, I’m Y/n. Let me help you up!” I replied as I helped him to his feet. “Thank you. We’re Bloodmoon!” he said as I dragged him into the car.

“Thank you for taking us in and letting us stay here,” Bloodmoon said. “You’re welcome, Bloody!” I exclaimed. “Bloody?” he repeated. “Do you not like the nickname?” I asked. “No, we like it very much!” he said.

What stands out most is the contrast between the normal human setting and Bloodmoon’s sudden, mysterious presence. The discovery scene by the parkway is very visual and already feels like a perfect panel moment, with strong cinematic framing possibilities. The interaction between Y/n and Bloodmoon is also very light and natural, especially the nickname moment “Bloody,” which adds a soft emotional hook and gives their bond an instant identity.
Bloodmoon’s confused but oddly polite personality gives him charm, and Y/n’s gentle curiosity balances the tone nicely. The pacing is quick, but that actually makes it feel like a setup chapter for something bigger rather than a fully explained world.

I like how the pun (intended or unintended) emerged as "You're welcome, Bloody!" sounds like "You're welcome, Buddy!"
