Just wow but crazy
"So from the start of this story was crazy how she was raise to do what she was told and thought she was meant to be. But that was all wrong because her father didn’t love her except used her like she was a piece of meat... that is until Beaumont stepped in... yes he was ruthless, mean and an ass all at once... he was the devil 😈 but as the story goes on I realized what he was doing... he was making her to who she was meant to be and was... he made her strong yet ruthless in her own right and yes they got married and love each other at the end... and she even signed her freedom but chose to stay with him... great writing and boy the author has some crazy imagination. I almost quit reading but I push through because I’m a curious person so I stayed on reading and I wasn’t disappointed at all...Thank you 😊 "

"After reading the first five chapters of My Stepbrother Ruined My Wedding, I think Willow Graves has a lot to praise as a writer, but there are also a few weaknesses that keep the story from fully landing for me. The strongest part of Willow’s writing is definitely the setting and dialogue. Conversations feel sharp, emotional, and often carry the tension well. The dramatic tone is strong, and the story knows how to create explosive moments that keep you reading. My biggest issue so far is with character consistency and motivation, especially with Trinity. In the first three chapters, Trinity is introduced as independent, sarcastic, and strong-willed. In chapter one, when her father tells her to go back inside and marry her cheating fiancé, she refuses. When he says the failed marriage will hurt the merger, she basically tells him to let it burn. It’s a powerful moment because it establishes Trinity as someone who won’t bend easily and feels like her own person. That’s why chapters four and five felt contradictory. Once Beaumont arrives and Trinity ends up back at his place, a ghost of her father warns her to behave or everything will burn. Instead of pushing back like the Trinity we were introduced to, she suddenly becomes much more accepting and compliant. That shift felt abrupt and weakened the strong foundation built in the opening chapters. It made her motivations feel unclear and somewhat inconsistent. Ironically, Beaumont was the character I liked most. He seems like the character readers probably aren’t supposed to fully trust or root for, but he felt the most layered. His actions, words, and emotional reactions had clearer reasoning behind them than many of the other characters. Unfortunately, side characters like Julian, Trinity’s father, and Sarah feel underdeveloped. Julian especially feels like a missed opportunity. He’s presented as an abusive, uncaring fiancé who cheated on Trinity with Sarah, but the story also makes it clear that neither he nor Trinity actually wanted to marry each other. That raises interesting questions, why were they still engaged? Why were they trapped in that arrangement? Those answers mostly feel unexplored, at least in the first five chapters. Oddly, chapter four, through Beaumont’s point of view, gave me the clearest understanding of Trinity’s situation and why he both wants her and seems conflicted about her. That perspective added depth the earlier chapters sometimes lacked. Overall, this story has strong atmosphere, dramatic dialogue, and compelling tension, but some of the characterization feels cliché, repetitive, or emotionally underexplained. If you enjoy stories like "Cry or Better Yet Beg", this will probably appeal to you because of its intense and explosive dynamic. If not, parts of it may feel repetitive, confusing, or overly dramatic. So far: strong writing style, interesting tension, one standout male lead, but weaker character motivation and uneven consistency. Based on the first five chapters, I’m curious enough to continue, but I hope later chapters strengthen the emotional logic behind the characters’ choices."
