Introducing the main characters
Main Characters
EIRA VOSS
Age: late 20's
Occupation: Undercover officer in an organized‑crime task force.
Backstory: Her father, a compulsive gambler, fell into debt with the Calderón cartel. When he couldn't pay, they made an example of him. Eira found what was left of him at sixteen.
That day rewired her: compassion outwardly, iron inside. She joined the police to hunt the kind of men who think terror is currency.
Personality: Brave to recklessness, secretly craves chaos—the rush of being close enough to danger to taste it.
Skills: Disguise, languages, data forensics, knife play.
Flaws: Trust issues, adrenaline dependence, habit of isolating herself when afraid.
Desire: To prove she's nothing like her father; to feel power without losing empathy.
DAMIAN ROTH
Age: early 30's
Occupation: Head of the Roth Syndicate (arms and finance network).
Backstory: His parents were gunned down in front of him by the Prophet crew, a rival cartel. A gang lieutenant took him in and raised him to weaponize charm and fear.
Now he rules through unpredictability—plays the jester, hides the reaper.
Personality: Witty, cruel when cornered, calculating. Thrives on control because without it he'd crumble.
Reputation: Tortures informants by turning their own secrets against them—psychological dissection before bullets.
Desire: To keep his empire bulletproof and to never again need anyone.
Weakness: The woman fearless enough to look him in the eye when he's armed.
