CHAPTER 00:- THE WARNINGS & THE VIBE CHECK 🚩
✨ RAICHAND BRAIN ROT. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. ✨
Bestie, if you're reading this — congratulations. You walked into a trap and I decorated it with fairy lights, unresolved childhood trauma, and called it a story.
I have been living with these two in my head for an embarrassingly long time. They pay no rent. They cause emotional damage. They have been causing each other emotional damage since they were twelve years old — one of them significantly more literally than the other — and now they are eighteen and about to walk into the same university without a clue.
You know. They don't. Cherish this moment.
This is my first story. Be kind to my soul. But understand that kindness will not protect you from what's coming — and apparently neither will six years of blissful ignorance.
Welcome to South Delhi's ugliest, shiniest secret. Where old money has older grudges, rich families have richer problems, the drama has a dress code, and nothing is ever as clean as it looks.
Multiple families. Multiple agendas. Multiple things nobody is saying out loud.
And two eighteen year olds whose carefully constructed peace is about to be absolutely demolished.
Neither of them sees it coming.
You do.
🧨 THE MALE LEAD: ZOHAIB RAICHAND
Women don't just notice him. They notice him and then make deeply questionable decisions about it.
He is not innocent in this. He knows exactly what he does and has never once lost sleep over it.
Zohaib Raichand comes from the kind of money that doesn't introduce itself because it doesn't need to. But strip every rupee away and he would still walk into a room and shift the air. No effort. No performance. Just the quiet, infuriating certainty of a man who has never had to try very hard for anything.
He is not a one woman man and has never pretended to be. He has been with enough women to make anyone lose count, and exactly one of them meant something. That relationship is over.
It was not with the girl in this story.
He does not do commitment — not as damage, not as trauma, simply as a choice he has made and never seen a reason to revisit.
He is charming the way expensive things are charming — you already know the cost and you reach for it anyway.
At twelve, he said something unforgivable to a girl and ended up changing schools because of what she did to him afterward.
He hasn't thought about her in years.
Or so he tells himself.
Because the second she enters a room, he will recognise her without fail.
🍕 THE FEMALE LEAD: SAIRA AGARWAL
Let me make one thing clear before we begin —
Saira Agarwal is not a damsel. She is not fragile. She is not the girl who cries in bathrooms or shrinks herself for anyone's comfort. She has never been that girl and does not intend to start now.
At twelve, she said something brave, got her heart handed back to her with a side of colorism, and put the boy in the hospital for it. He changed schools. She moved on. She has not lost a single night of sleep over it since.
Truthfully, she barely remembers his face anymore.
She is eighteen now. Sharp. Funny in a way most people never get to discover because she keeps it entirely to herself.
She knows exactly who she is and exactly what she wants — to become a chef, perfect her garlic butter bread, and be left completely alone by anyone who is not on her very short list of people worth her time.
She does not start drama. She does not chase anyone. She does not perform for rooms that were never built for her.
She falls first — yes. But she falls the way strong people fall. Slowly. Reluctantly. Fully aware of every single moment of it.
And she will never let him see it coming.
👀 THE REST OF THE CIRCUS
These two are only the beginning.
There are other families. In this world, money gets passed down. So does damage. People smile across dinner tables while quietly dismantling each other underneath. Alliances dressed as loyalty. Secrets dressed as normal.
The supporting cast is not decoration. They are weapons in designer clothing and they will go off at the worst possible moments.
The chaos has layers. You'll see.
And yes — there are multiple couples in this story. Some healthy. Some deeply concerning. Some one argument away from committing emotional crimes.
The families are enormous, the relationship dynamics are messier than Delhi traffic, and at some point I will upload a family chart because even I occasionally forget who belongs to whom.
There is betrayal. There is cheating. There are people making spectacularly bad romantic decisions with full confidence.
Please be patient with me. I am managing an entire cinematic universe fueled entirely by caffeine and unresolved issues.
✍️ FROM THE AUTHOR
English is my second language and I wrote this entire thing anyway. Please acknowledge the audacity. It deserves a moment. 🌏💔
This is fiction. Every character, every family, every scandal — completely made up.
If anything feels familiar, it is a coincidence and also please do not come for my head. I am just a person with too many characters in my brain and a genuinely concerning lack of therapy.
The choices these characters make — the cruelty, the mess, the moral greyness — are not endorsements.
I am not my characters. I am simply the person who gave them voices and now has to live with that decision.
Read it for the chaos. Stay for the layers. Do not mistake the story for the storyteller.
Vote. Comment. Scream into the void.
I read everything, I feel everything, and your words genuinely keep me going. Hate comments are also accepted — your saltiness is creative fuel and I have built my entire writing process around it. 💅🔥
Bookmark this. Add it to your list. Do not lose the plot — metaphorically or literally. 📚✨
Will this have a happy ending?
Excellent question.
Ask me again when these people learn how to communicate without psychologically injuring each other first. 💖
🔞 CONTENT & MATURITY: 18+ NEW ADULT
Morally grey characters making morally grey choices. Nobody here is making good decisions — that is not an accident, that is the entire architecture.
This story contains toxic dynamics, obsessive behaviour, commitment issues as a lifestyle, family politics sharp enough to draw blood, and two eighteen year olds with six years of unfinished business and nowhere to run.
It also explores colorism and body image within South Delhi high-society culture — not as background noise but as something with real teeth.
If any of this is not for you, your peace matters more than my readership. Always. 💖
