"Elena Hart is a bright, ambitious student struggling with the loneliness that often comes with standing out. Through heartfelt conversations with her friend Frederick and her supportive family, author Neri A. Leleji explores the themes of intelligence, ambition, self-acceptance, and the universal desire to belong, in this interesting thinly veiled biography about the life of Sheryl Sandberg. Honestly, this is a very good novel and perhaps some of Neri’s best work to date. I enjoyed the thoughtful exploration of Elena’s struggles, as well as the supportive relationships that surround her. The dialogue feels natural with some humor coming from Elena's younger siblings and the characters including Elena's friends are relatable and easy to connect with. You sense the string message of hope in Elena's biography and the uplifting message about embracing who you are rather than changing yourself to fit in. I’m looking forward to seeing what Neri does with Elena’s journey next."

"I like the fact that the author touches on social issues throughout the book. I haven't read all chapters but so far, I like that she shows us her main character's growth in every chapter. Elena has people she can rely on; family, friends and sometimes these things are really all you need. I look forward to reading the rest of the chapters. If you want something profound, heartwarming and funny at the same time, then you should try out this book. Happy reading"
