"I like the way you get the reader back many centuries. Opening, sitting in a serene living room and suddenly, 'BOOM', and your in the legendary world of pirates. I'm sure they did not brush their teeth and were a nasty bunch. But, as read along, you probably give them a morality of their own. Maybe they aren't total garbage, or you wouldn't be so interested in them. Good writing, in my opinion."

"Two chapters in and I'm very engaged with the story and characters. I haven't read or watched anything pirate-based since Treasure Planet and POTC, so this was a fresh story for me. I'm very interested in whats in store for Ayden and Savannah and wonder what happened to his sister, This is my first impressions of the novel and they will definitely be subject to change, although my impression will most likely only improve. Great story so far, very unique and keeping me very interested so far! I'll keep reading!"
