"I love narrated, story poems. They are one of my favourite types of poems. It's creepy, lilting, yet comforting and warm in parts. The imagery is vivid, enthralling and leaves you with an eerie feeling when you put it down. I'll certainly be reading more of this authors poetry and their other stories."
Shocking Twist!
"This is a story in the form of a poem about a little girl who got lost in the woods after forgetting her mother's warning, who found a music box in the middle of it after being stranded there for days. I absolutely love reading poems! And this one didn't disappoint. Whenever I read poems, I focus on the rhymes, this one tells a story that was absolutely chilling. The story was filled with twists and turns, with the end I wasn't expecting. So props to the author for delivering such a twist. Not only once, not twice, but three times! Wow, what an absolute rollercoaster of emotions, lmao. I saw no grammar errors, no typos, nothing off the sort. So perfect score for this one too! Does rhymes count too? Five stars then! Overall, if you like to sit down and read a poem that tells a story, similar to children's rhymes, then this masterpiece is a MUST READ! Reading it at night and while you're alone gives you the full experience too, hahaha."
The Music Box [Revised]
"Despite how long ago the book was written, the book is good. I don't read poetry though this story is pretty great, I'd say. Honesty, kind of gives off the vibe little red lost, instead of seeing her nan. And I think her mum would be worried if she were lost for a few days. The Music Box gives a comforting vibe towards the child, is the music box itself lost? I liked the good ending; it was sweet and rather adorable. I'm glad she got home safe and sound. Overall, the story was comforting and sweet. I think it'd be a good book someone would read to a child who requested the book to be read many times. The grammar, plot, and story were good. Definitely would be a good child's book. "
