A First for Everything | Welcome!
Welcome, y’all, to Time and Tide, my very first poetry collection! I’m so excited to share it! While poetry isn’t my go-to genre, I thought it would be a fun challenge to help me keep growing as a writer. So, here I am.
Time and Tide consists of prose poetry, since I am mostly a fiction writer. Each of these poems tells a story, and most contain a life lesson I’ve learned over the years (hence Time and Tide). I’ve been trying to diversify the content on my profile, so I’ve been dipping into genres I don’t normally write. Now, I am no expert at poetry, but it was fun to put these pieces together and tell their stories. At the end of the day, I want readers and writers to have fun. I most likely won’t try to publish poetry in the future, but at least I’ll have this fun little book for those who enjoy this genre.
With that said, let’s enter the hourglass and journey to the world of Time and Tide! I hope you enjoy the adventure.
