📚✨ INKWELL CIRCLE BOOK CLUB — IMPORTANT MEMBER REMINDER ✨📚

Hi everyone! 💙

As we continue building The Inkwell Circle Book Club, I want to address a few concerns that have come up regarding participation and weekly commitments.

The purpose of this club has always been simple: writers supporting writers. For the system to remain fair, everyone must give the same support they receive.

Recently, we have noticed instances of members:

📖 Not completing the required reading but reporting their assignment as done.

📅 Skipping weeks or repeatedly falling behind on weekly commitments.

💬 Not commenting, reviewing, or engaging with assigned books as required.

⚖️ Receiving the benefits of the club without consistently providing the same support to other members.

We understand that life happens, schedules change, and occasionally someone may need extra time. Missing a week once in a while is understandable. The concern is with repeated nonparticipation or reporting assignments as completed when the required reading and engagement have not been done.

To protect members who consistently put in the time and effort, those who repeatedly fail to meet their commitments are being removed from the club. Members removed for nonparticipation will not be eligible to participate in future Inkwell Circle Book Club tiers or groups.

This is not meant to be harsh or punitive. It is simply about fairness and accountability. When an author reaches their featured week, they deserve the same enthusiasm, reading, comments, and support they have already given to everyone else.

Please make sure your weekly commitments are fully completed before marking them as done. If you know you are unable to continue meeting the club requirements, please reach out rather than simply disappearing or marking assignments complete.

We want The Inkwell Circle to remain a place where every author can trust that when they give support, that support will come back around.
