Chapter 1

I didn’t know what I should do.

It was 11/2/2025.

I was eating dinner and drinking my tea before going to work, like every day. But this time, something strange was happening—everything and everyone was floating. I was confused, dumbfounded, and shocked. Then something even stranger happened.

A lot of people were making potions to regain gravity, but nothing worked. So, I decided that I should invent a potion myself. However, I didn’t have enough resources, so I stole other people’s potions.

After gathering them together, I managed to create a 15-minute gravity potion, which allowed me to collect more resources like dust and sand. Then I improved it to a 20-minute potion, and I kept repeating these steps until I finally reached a 48-hour potion.

The problem was that a huge kingdom came and demanded the potion for their king. I refused, so they started destroying everything until they took it by force. I was afraid because there were no resources left to make another one.

But then something unexpected happened. Instead of giving up, people from all over the country came together. They brought whatever little resources they had left—dust, sand, broken potions, even failed mixtures. We worked day and night, experimenting, failing, and trying again.

Finally, after countless attempts, we created something greater than before—an infinite gravity potion. When we used it, everything slowly returned to normal. The sky settled, people stood back on the ground, and the chaos finally ended.

This time, I didn’t keep the potion to myself. I shared it with everyone—because I realized that it wasn’t just my invention, it was the result of all of us working together.

My Second Chance

kitkatbar29: So this first book in this series I liked. A good plot that flowed well for the most part with some twists along the way, good well developed characters... there are a few technical mistakes, but nothing to harsh. I must say toward the end of the book there were some issues with like a quick change ...
