What is your opinion?

Poignant

"A powerful and simply told tale. A little work is needed to bring out the story's true depth. But the very idea of a man reading scripture while participating in Pickett's Charge, is thought provoking to say the least..A man who does not want to die, yet bravely wades toward his death, is something we the living can't fully understand. You have captured that moment quite admirably. If you have the time, please look at Pleasant Hill, an excerpt from my novel set in Civil War-era Louisiana. The story has some Christian mystical aspects. Thank you. http://www.inkitt.com/stories/17035"
