PROLOGUE
The city was drowning in rain.
Traffic lights blurred behind sheets of water.
People rushed past each other, umbrellas colliding, footsteps echoing across the soaked pavement.
No one stopped.
No one looked back.
Because to the world...
It was just another ordinary evening.
But somewhere...
Destiny had quietly chosen that exact moment.
Not for a miracle.
Not for a confession.
Not even for love.
Just...
For two lives to exist under the same sky.
One was walking toward a dream.
The other had already achieved every dream the world could imagine.
One carried nothing more than a worn leather portfolio pressed carefully against her chest.
The other carried a name recognized by millions.
One worried about tomorrow’s presentation.
The other had thousands of people waiting to hear his voice.
Two different worlds.
Two different lives.
Two people who had never heard each other’s names.
And yet...
The distance between them was already becoming smaller.
Not because they were searching for each other.
But because destiny never asks for permission.
It simply begins.
There are meetings that last only a few seconds...
Yet change an entire lifetime.
There are people you spend years with...
And never truly know.
Then there are strangers...
Who somehow feel familiar before they even speak.
Perhaps...
Some stories are written long before they are lived.
Perhaps...
Some promises are made long before two hearts ever meet.
Or perhaps...
This was always meant to happen.
Not today.
Not tomorrow.
But eventually.
Because every story has a beginning.
Some begin with a smile.
Some begin with goodbye.
And some...
Begin so quietly...
That the whole world mistakes them for coincidence.
This...
Was one of them.

I enjoyed this but the constant line breaks , like the fragmented "This (new sentence) Was one of them" made it had to read. the spacing and line breaks actually detract from some very emotional powerful lines here.
