Obsessed with the slow burn and the character growth!
"Honestly, I binged this up to chapter 33! The writing is amazing and the characters are beautifully crafted—I love how we slowly get to see their pasts, insecurities, and true colors. Also, major swoon moment: I wish I could find someone as crazy about me as Owen is about Lea! That said, I do find it a bit hard to get why they won’t even consider changing their future, but maybe that’s down to their age and insecurities. I’m really hoping to see them grow and tackle the big changes coming their way as the story goes on... that is, if everything keeps going smoothly! :-). UPDATE! Now that I've finished the book, I'm updating my review: I enjoyed the story, but the pacing of the last few chapters felt too accelerated. I would have liked more clarity on what happens after Christmas and a deeper description of the aftermath of the airport scene. I also wished for more depth regarding the protagonists' choices, their motivations, and what they do in practice."
