Er fragt, wann Berichterstattung zur Waffe wird, warum Klicks oft mehr zählen als Gewissen und weshalb Leserinnen und Leser nicht alles glauben sollten, nur weil es gedruckt, gepostet oder geteilt wurde. Wenn Freiheit weh tut

Pressefreiheit, sagen die einen – Vorverurteilung, die anderen. Worte können alles: trösten, zerstören, tarnen. Vom Spott bis zum Rufmord – fein verpackt als Objektivität. Ein Spiegel ohne Licht, in dem sich Gesichter verzerren – und Wahrheit verschwimmt.

Man glaubt, sich zu kennen. Bis man Dinge über sich liest – und fragt: Das soll ich sein?

Meist reicht Verdrängen. Ausblenden – von dem, was da steht. Aber eben nicht immer.

Das Leben zeigt es immer wieder: Menschen brauchen Alibis – Worte nicht. Rufmord entsteht aus sorgfältig aneinandergereihten Wortkompositionen: laut, wiederholt, mit Nachdruck. So werden sie zur Waffe. Egal, ob prominent – oder einfach jemand, der nur lebt, liebt, glaubt.

Mit der Erkenntnis kommt die Starre: Freiheit kann erstarren, wenn der Schatten zu groß – zu schwer wird. Manchmal trifft es Menschen, die einfach nur sie selbst sind – eben noch auf der Sonnenseite – und plötzlich in den Fängen mächtiger Worte.
