Chapter 1
Sanctification is a process. Sometimes it’s instantaneous, other times it’s gradual.
The hills and valleys of life are our preparation so we can appeciate the magnitude of God’s glory in a greater way regardless if that’s relationally, physically and or emotionally.
Don’t negate the lessons learned in the valley and don’t worship the mountaintops but instead look to the hills from which cometh your help.
Remember, not everything we go through is for us, but so that we can encourage somebody else in their valley.
I’m reminded of the fact God is immutable meaning He cannot change his nature.
Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
He said to Moses, I am that I am’’
Here’s how I interpret that: He’ll be whatever we need him to be, whenever we need him to be. For example, He’s a father to the fatherless and the mother to the motherless.
