Being a nurse who splits her time between Peds and Labour and Delivery. I get to see so many babies, I get to cure them, and toddlers, get to hold them after they are born.
which a lot of times remind me of my little one.
But now I had left work early and headed to the Pitt where my little baby was brought in with my babysitter who had gotten hurt. I walked off the elevator and headed to the room where I seen sexy man tending to my baby.
I Carefully walk over to not frighten him.
"hi" I greeted
“Hello. I'm Dr. Abbott."
“Is she okay?” I asked
He smiled
"yeah she's fine, just a little fussy" he says
I nodded my head
"she your's?" he asked
"yeah. my little moon" I say
He carefully hands her over and I realx as I hold her closer.
"when I got the call that she was here I thought something happened to her." I say without him asking
"you the babysitter. I'm assuming had taken a tumble and only bruised her hip." he explained
"do you all have a nursing room?" I asked
he nods and walks off to show me. I smiled in apprecaiteion and walked in. he turned on the light and as I sat down.
being as careful as I could, I removed my scrub top and uncalsped my cami before guiding my baby girl to my breast, she latched on an calm down a bit.
I was focused on my baby girl, I didnt know we had company.
“how oshe is beautiful like her mother”
I looked up andoctor Abbott was stnading inthe room staring at Kiara nursing
"thank you" I say
he nods his head not taking his eyes from my nursing baby.
he steps forward and stood before me as if he was to block anyone from witnessing my breast out and daughter nursing. should they come into the room.
"Are you the infomus nurse from peds?" he asked
"I didnt kno I was famous.so I guess so" I replied
"alot of people tlk about how there is a nurse who wears soft colors and talks to the paptients as if they could responded liek adults or someone who has great vocabulary." he says
"oh.. well then yeah . thats me" I replied
he smiles
"you're the night shift cowboy right?" I asked
He smiles and pulls a seat up before me and brushes his finger along Kiara's cheek till she grabs it and holds on to him.
"yeah I am." he says
"what are you doing here in the daylight?" I asked
"wanted to see if I was gonan give night shift up or not" he say.
I nodded my head and focused back on my baby moving her around to my other breast not really paying mind that a stranger is in the room depsite the fact we are conversating. and my breast is out. I was more focused on my little moon then a guy seeing my tit.
"its a pleasure to meet you" he says
" you as well Dr. Abbott" I say
" Just Jack if you will" he says
"sure. you can call me Livi" I replied
he nods
"if you don't mind me asking.. where is her dad?" he asked
"long gone.." I say
"good long gone or heart breaking?" he asked
"God gfor me heart breaking for his family. But dont take the while good for me harshly. He was abusive." I replied
"well then yes good long gone" he says
After Kira nursed and was realxed I fixed my top, burped her and held her close.
"Do you have anyone who can take you two lovely ladies home?" he asked
"No" I replied
"May I?" he asked
"How did you get here?" I asked
"Walked..it's A beautiful day" he says
"well I drove. which is why I said no. but I'd liek to take you home so you'd not have to walk in the rain" I say
"how bout we grab some food then go from there?" he asked
"sure." I say before we walked out of the room and I headed over ot the room the babysitter was in. she told me how she'd need some time off to heal and I told her it was fine I was gonna take some time off.
After I got my baby situated I headed up to Peds got my things and left with Dr. Abbott.
we went to a little resturant that was almost a replica of fifties and sixties diner.
While I had Little moon in her car seat beside me he sat across from me.
we got to talking and learing a lot about each other. and when the check came he refused to let me pay.
After the bill was paid he carried the carrier out and got it in the car making sure Kira was secured before opening the driver door for me like a true gentleman.
I dont know what came over me. if it was the lack of sex, or what but I grabbed him by his shirt and kissed the fuck out of him. before letting him go, starting the car and left the resturant.
“I want you so fucking bad. you doing all you had for my baby, means so fucking much. I mean she was fussy and you comforted her, not knowing her at all or her mother. ” I say before I pulled into my parking spot.
"no way" he says
"what?" I asked
"you live here?" he asked
"yeah..why?" I asked
"so do I" he says
"funny we never seen each other.. guess its due to the whole day and night shift matter" I say
he nods in agreement.
We climbed out and opened the back doors
he got our bags while I got Kiara out of the carrier and headed for the front door, w alked side by side to the elevator. and I pressed the floor number
"and you live above me is the other reason" he says
"yeah." I say
After gettign to my apartment and I unlocked the door, we headed in. He sat the bags by the door while I excused myself to tend to Kiara and lay her down for a nap.
When I walked back into living room Jack was sitting on the couch
