Chapter 1

Melanie lay back on the bed panting. What an energetic session it had been. She was sure she had come at least three times.

Her lover lay next to her gently running his finger around her left breast in slowly decreasing circles until he reached her nipple, pinching it gently causing it to become erect.

“Oh no,” she moaned, “I couldn’t go again. I have to save some energy for….” She managed to stop herself. Hell, that was close! She almost blurted it out. Definitely no more wine just before sex from now on.

“You have to save some energy for what?” the man asked, looking at her with a puzzled expression.

“I told you before,” Melanie said, “I’m having dinner with my father tonight. He’s in town just for the weekend. I have to meet him at the restaurant at eight o’clock.” She looked at the bedside clock which showed seven thirty. She stood up and started dressing.

“Okay, babe,” but I’ll miss you,” he murmured. “Me too, Liam, but I’ll see you again tomorrow. How about we have lunch at our favourite café? I could meet you there at one?”

“It’s a date,” Liam said, getting up from the bed. “How about I drive you to the restaurant?”

“No, silly. If you did that I wouldn’t have a car to get back to my place.”

“You could get a taxi and come back here and spend the night,” he said, walking up to her and rubbing his hand up and down her back. Then he added with a smirk, “I would be fully recharged by then.”

“No, Liam,” she said with a smile, “I have to go home after this dinner and get a good night’s sleep. I promised to go shopping with my friend Bethany tomorrow morning. She’s picking me up at nine o’clock.”

“Okay, okay,” Liam looked disappointed, “I can’t come between you and your shopping.”

“Thanks, sweetheart.” She finished brushing her hair and gave him a long kiss. “See you tomorrow.”

As she walked down the path to her car she tried to think of new excuses not to spend the night with Liam at his flat. She couldn’t use the dinner with her father excuse again for some time, after all her father was supposed to live in another city. Going shopping with Bethany in the morning gave her a free ticket for the rest of tonight, but she couldn’t play the shopping card too often either.

She climbed into her car and reversed out of the driveway. Time to meet boyfriend number two.
