Rob Run’s Away
Mat Miles, a professor in robotics, mechanics, electrical engineering and computer programming. Who longed for a son, his wife died during pregnancy and the child that she carried with her, sadly died too. Mat never remarried, as he simply could not bring himself to look at another woman. Mat did not want to adopt a child either, after a long time of thoughtful thinking, he decides to build a boy robot, which will be his son instead.
He built the robot to look like a generic 12-year-old boy of average height and weight, with short black hair and blue eyes. The robot looks and acts like a real boy, but there is only one real problem. His robot son, which he named Rob, short for Robot, wants to be a little girl. Nothing has corrupted the robot’s circuitry, Mat furiously goes through and checks every piece of data etc. No faults can be found; Mat faces the choice of having to reprogram his son. Unaware is Mat that Rob overheard him talking out loud to himself and of his plans to reprogram him, so Rob runs away.
