The government called it Project 707.
Officially, it never existed.
Deep beneath the abandoned Ashwood Research Facility, scientists worked on an experimental regeneration serum designed to heal damaged tissue. The goal was simple: create a treatment that could rebuild cells after catastrophic injuries.
Instead...
...it rebuilt the dead.
The serum—known only as 707—didn't restore life.
It replaced it.
The infected became violent within minutes. Their body temperature dropped, their pupils turned white, and they attacked anything that moved.
Within three hours, the entire facility had gone silent.
By morning...
The city had no idea the apocalypse had already begun.
