An Authentic Mafia Romance That Keeps You Hooked!
"This story does a fantastic job of creating a truly authentic mafia atmosphere from the very first page. The plot moves at a fast, gripping pace, and the mystery is beautifully built from one chapter to the next, constantly leaving you with new questions. One of my favorite aspects is the writing style—the descriptions are exceptionally fluid, making the book incredibly easy and enjoyable to read in English. Plus, the chapter lengths are perfect and very reader-friendly, whether you're catching up on your laptop or your phone. Personally, I think it would add an even greater layer of authenticity if the heroine sprinkled in a few more simple French words here and there, since French is such a beautiful language and would fit her vibe perfectly. Overall, this is a fast-paced, thrilling read. Highly recommended!"

"I want to start with how the author constantly painted imagary with their words. It is poetic. Excellent Job! As for the story, it is very fast paced. Unfortunately, I believe the speed left gaps that could be filled with a few more chapters. I believe that if the history with Luigi and our Queen was more deeply detailed even if in just 1 chapter of it's own we as readers could better understand their dynamic. Additionally, while I get how grief and the changes of lige can calm the temper of anyone, I felt I wanted more fire. Fire to turn sugar into caramel. Fire in our main FMC. She vowed to be difficult and bitter but then she started to roll over, to let Luigi take control without resistance when he had no footing to do so in her life. I want steel backbone and biting teeth from her if she truly felt wronged by him and their past. Hopefully, upon editing, our lovely writer will add some more of that. Still, to say I became emotionally invested would be an understatement. I started arguing as if I was there so that should be telling. Great Job! "
