Boredom

Here’s a Marvel/D.C. crossover!

Peter/Spidey POV

Today is the worst day ever. Period. There is nothing to do. He did all of his homework, aced the test, got extra sleep, and is swinging around the city. With nothing to do. At all. He means, yay, no crime, but really? Why is crime abundant when he has stuff to do, and gone when he's bored?

Peter sits down on top of the apartment he was swinging over, letting his legs dangle off. Suddenly, he's bathed in a blue glow from overhead.

"Is that... a portal?" He asks aloud. It's about five feet above his head.

...Peter is way too curious to just sit here.

He stands up. Too short. He debates whether or not he should shoot a web in it. You know what, yes, he will. It only goes about a foot in before hitting something.

"Here goes nothing." Peter mutters. Then he swings into the mysterious portal above.

Peter's up is sideways? He falls to the side on the ground, but remains unnoticed. He's in a large room, and two guy's in costumes are arguing. One with a red and yellow color scheme, and one with a yellow and red. The one with more red is mad at the one with more yellow.

"Wally, you've got to stop opening portals! You could let in a supervillain, or open one in space, or... basically anything!" The red-costume guy says angrily.

"I didn't mean too! Besides, maybe I could actually control my powers if you stopped trying to coddle me from danger!"

Peter stands up. "Is this a bad time?" They both whip around. They both have lightning symbols on their chests. He blinks. Huh. That's weird.

"How did you get in here?" The one in more red asks.

"A random portal opened up above my head. I'm kinda suspicious of those, especially since we got invaded by aliens through one."

The guy in red blinks. The one in yellow seems confused.

"Whats your name?" The red guy asks.

"Spider-Man."

The one is yellow seems upset. "Okay, see, he looks like my age, and he has a 'man' suffix! Why am I Kid Flash? That's not cool!"

The red guy sighs. "Because... hold on, you chose your name. Why are you mad at me?" Peter blinks, and look up.

The portal is gone. "Hate to bother your discussion, but can you re-open the portal so I can go home?"

Kid-Flash nods. "Yeah. What earth are you from?"

Peter stares. "Did you just imply that multiverses are real?"
