Echoes of the past
[ Flashback]
Astra was a cool and blooming street full of people and loud noise caused by traffic. Mimi and her best friend Kathy were in a small store, struggling over a tin of milk. Kathy mistakenly pushed Mimi causing her to loss her balance and crashed into Jin.
A well respected CEO of
SKYLINK Corporation, bodyguards on his right side and left, before she could know,she w
as on top of Jin.
[ Beginning]
Jin,Jin a little girl of 6 years cried running after a convoy. As the boy also forcefully stretches out his hand to hold her,but his hands are pulled in by an adult. The car sped up and the little girl fell on her knees to the ground still stretching out her hand ,as she looked up again she could only see a clear sight with no cars nor people,it was Mimi. Mimi ran into the field crying. Mimi's parent looked for her till evening only to find her in one of the field paths.
Her mother took her home,after some time Mimi fell asleep,even on her bed she kept screaming Jin and held her mother tight. Mimi's mother knew nothing about who was Jin . Jin and Mimi were two city kids who came to the country side for vacation. Jin was from an extremely rich and popular family,whose massive company had an effect in the country economy. Jin was actually cold as he lost his parents in a criminal ambush while hurrying home to celebrate his birthday with him, since then he only had his grandfather who pampered him with every possible best. Mimi was a daughter from a middle class family, she was equally well cared for. One day Jin ran off to the field to get a flower for ,he reached out all his best but he couldn't, just then Mimi came running as she jumped up and cut the flower for him
"Wow ! She looks like an angel" he said in his mind .
Hi there , I'm Mimi she said,hello,hey I'm talking to you,oops I'm sorry Jin he said hurriedly. Thanks said Jin. No problems, I'm off Mimi said as she ran .Jin continued watching till she vanished and he then went home. Jin was 10 and Mimi was 6. Since then ,both have been stealing time to sneak out and play with eachother. Both nicknamed eachother which made them look more close until this fateful day.
Back in the city, Jin was admitted into high school, although he was heavily depressed he still focus on his studies. Mimi's vacation was over and she also moved to the city and got into high school. As days turned into month and month into years Jin and Mimi started accepting the distance and lost touch.Jin had finished college and Mimi was a senior in college.
Mimi had a junior brother who was 19 years old, Mead. He was at home making lunch,and was distracted by listening to music and forgot to put out the table cloth he used in wiping off alcohol from the cooking area. Back in college Mimi was walking home ,when other students a male started playing pranks on people. He would greet someone and ask if they could see hom ,this made them ran thinking he was a ghost,he did so till he met a lady who knew his motives. He greeted this lady and asked if she could see him she said yes ,and she also exclaim " so you could see me ,this made him ran and knocked down a street seller thinking she was a real ghost. Mimi got home and smelt smoke inside her house,she rushed inside and discovered her parent were trapped inside.
The firefighters were call but they had to find a way first.
As they tried a heavy part of the roof made with wood was falling right into Mead ,Mimi tried to push her brother but their father held her back.
