If [Y/N] had thought it would turn out this way, he probably wouldn’t have left the house. However, it was too late, and there was nothing he could do about it. In reality, this day was shaping up to be just like any other for him. Although he usually didn’t like this whole „Halloween” thing, he allowed his friend to convince them to go to this one and only party.

„How stupid I was...,” [Y/N] said to himself, sitting on one of the cemetery tombstones.

Still unable to truly understand what had happened. His memories were jumbled, but the pain throughout his body was utterly real. So, how on earth had he been „alive” when he’d heard the opposite? Although he couldn’t be one hundred percent sure of that either.

Was he alive, or was it the opposite of what he thought? [Y/N] couldn’t be sure of anything anymore, and that was what was killing him most. He wanted to cry, but no tears flowed down his cheeks. Besides the pain, he felt no other change in his body. Which didn’t mean he could simply be a ghost now.

No wonder, then, that he had to touch the fingers of his right hand, or perhaps the tombstone he was sitting next to. His small fingers touched the stone, feeling its rough surface. However, whether it was cold or warm, he couldn’t tell.

His hand hadn’t gone through him, which meant he wasn’t a ghost after all. And so, he could breathe a sigh of relief that he wasn’t one. Although he couldn’t be one at all in that regard, which, as we know, he wasn’t exactly happy about.

„If I’m not a ghost, then what am I?,” [Y/N] muttered under his breath, pondering further what he could be.

But nothing came to mind, because there was still a certain emptiness within him. Some memories were there, and others seemed to have evaporated. It was a rather strange feeling, but he knew that soon everything would return to normal. It was slowly beginning to dawn on him that he could have become a vampire, or a zombie. That was the only thing he could think of, which only added to the confusion in his head.

„I can cross zombie off the list, because if I were, I wouldn’t be thinking about it now!,” [Y/N] remarked after a while, realizing that he wouldn’t think about it now.

He sighed heavily and began to wonder what to do next. He definitely couldn’t go home, he was one hundred percent sure of that! As far as his family was concerned, he was already dead, and he didn’t want to bother them. They’d call the police, exorcists, and so on if they saw him on their doorstep. [Y/N] wasn’t happy about this, because his appearance made it impossible for him to wander the streets peacefully. He was even more worried about the police picking him up and making him give him his family’s contact information.

„What am I supposed to do now?,” [Y/N] muttered under his breath, because he definitely couldn’t sit here aimlessly.

Sooner or later, someone would notice him, and he wanted to avoid that as much as possible. He sighed heavily again before turning his gaze toward the dark sky. The moon had been looming in the sky for a while, illuminating his lone figure. The confusion in his head was slowly fading, and the memories were slowly returning to him. Which was convenient for [Y/N], but at the same time, they were useless. He remembered his name and how he’d ended up in this place.

„And yes, no one will believe me, because I still don’t believe it myself...,” [Y/N] said under his breath, because it was the truth, and there was nothing he could do about it.

No one in their right mind would believe him that a vampire had saved her from death. Because, after all, vampires don’t exist, so who had helped him? With each passing moment, [Y/N] was growing more confused, and so far, he couldn’t see anyone who could dispel his doubts. He sighed again, slowly losing track of time in this regard.

He slowly digested what had returned to his mind, because it was too much all at once. It seemed like it was supposed to be a party, like any other. Or rather, it was a party for his birthday. No one expected what would happen some time later. He looked blearily at the tombstone bearing his name. He knew perfectly well that today was Halloween, the day he was so eagerly awaiting.

„By the way, how did I end up in the cemetery, and who was in my place in the coffin?,” [Y/N] remarked after a moment, realizing that if he was here now, he couldn’t be there, he was one hundred percent sure of that.

Or maybe the coffin was simply empty, or worse, they’d cremated a body that wasn’t his. Either way, he couldn’t just get up and head back to his family home. Especially since he didn’t know which cemetery he was in. So there was no way he could just go back. Which meant, where was he supposed to be now?

It was a good question, because [Y/N] had no idea. Just as this dawned on him, five black creatures began to emerge from the darkness. At that moment, he couldn’t figure out who these creatures were. The moon, as if to spite him, was covered with dark clouds that appeared out of nowhere. And they prevented him from seeing what was currently around him due to the darkness.

“ 𝕀𝕥’𝕤 𝕒 𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕖 𝕗𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕕 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕥 “

It was as if the moon didn’t want to reveal who they were at all costs. However, [Y/N] could tell that one of them was wearing skirts or a dress. Therefore, he couldn’t tell what they were wearing. Although the rest of them were dressed no better in that regard, as he couldn’t figure out what they were wearing either.

„I think I’m getting worse…,” [Y/N] muttered under his breath, hoping that this was all a dream after all and that he would wake up.

Because words and sentences he didn’t understand at all began to flash through his mind. Especially since they didn’t belong to him at all! Regardless, he watched [Y/N] with confused eyes as these beings emerged from the darkness that enveloped them. The sight was too incredible for him to do anything.

It happened too fast for his brain to register. Normally, he should have been afraid, but for some reason, he wasn’t. He felt as if he knew these beings and knew he didn’t have to fear them. Therefore, he didn’t move from that spot, just waiting for them to approach. For some reason, he knew that only they could answer the questions that tormented him.

„ 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟 𝕚𝕗 𝕀 𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕜𝕖𝕟 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕞𝕪 𝕕𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕤, 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕪 𝕟𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕖𝕟𝕕 „

„It couldn’t get any worse, right?,” [Y/N] thought after a moment, having somewhat come to terms with his current existence anyway.

Before the moon reappeared from behind the clouds, illuminating not only him, but also those who approached him. At first, [Y/N] didn’t He couldn’t see them clearly, as if something was blocking him. Because of this, he could barely make out black silhouettes, growing larger with each passing moment.

He blinked a couple of times to make sure he was seeing correctly. He wasn’t one hundred percent sure about that, and it was really making him nervous. He felt uncomfortable because he didn’t know what would happen to him next. He definitely couldn’t go home, so where was he supposed to go?

He watched as these black creatures made of shadows drew closer to him with every passing moment. And the closer they got, the more darkness left them. Which, as everyone knew, was absurd, but it was the truth! [Y/N] had no idea what these creatures wanted from him. Which didn’t fill him with optimism, but there was nothing he could do about it. Now all he could do was wait until they got closer.

„Maybe I can learn something from them?,” [Y/N] thought after a moment, hoping to reach them, to talk.

The moon kept appearing and reappearing from behind the clouds. This gave it an even darker meaning than he had imagined. In complete silence, he watched what would happen next, because he didn’t really know [Y/N]’s intentions. So he had to stay alert, which wasn’t as easy as he thought.

That was because he began to feel like he’d seen these people somewhere before. However, at the moment, he couldn’t remember where. Which irritated him even more, but he couldn’t help it. At first, they acted as if they hadn’t noticed him, because they were busy talking among themselves.

They were discussing something heatedly, but he didn’t know what it was anymore. Although he had the feeling that he was somewhat aware of what, or who, they were talking about. It made him shudder, for some reason. And a cold spread through his entire body, which he couldn’t stop.

He slowly felt the urge to get up and He wanted to run away and flee this place. Although he knew that doing so would only attract more attention. Therefore, it was better to stay where he was. With each passing moment, he was becoming more and more confused, and he needed someone to answer his questions.

The fear was slowly leaving him, and a hint of interest was taking its place. Not to mention that he needed to know the reason he was in this place and not somewhere else. Finally, the darkness completely vanished, and he could see who was actually approaching him.

And five people in baroque-style attire were approaching him, though he could be mistaken on that count. Which completely confused him, because no one normal these days wore such attire, except for some convention. It was no wonder then that [Y/N] was left to stay alert, as he didn’t know, as he’d probably mentioned earlier, their intentions.

The moon kept reappearing and reappearing, lending a spooky atmosphere to what was happening. Anyone else would probably have started smelling the flowers from below if they were in his situation. Although in his case, it wouldn’t have helped, as he was already „dead.” His gaze focused on these beings, so as not to miss anything.

Which wasn’t as easy for [Y/N] as some people thought. He almost jumped when his gaze met the one who was probably their leader. Immediately, his head started to hurt again, and memories flashed before his eyes like a movie, frame by frame.

The more he tried to focus on them, the faster they sped up, as if trying to return all at once. He didn’t understand any of them; they came back too quickly. His vision slowly began to blur. Which was strange, he thought, because vampires don’t usually lose consciousness due to headaches. Unless he was completely unaware of something, and that might be the case.
