About This Story:

I'm just an Owl House fan who had a story idea I felt compelled to write. The "Primacy of the Present" concept came to me as a way to explore the characters in a deeper, more psychological direction while honoring the spirit of the original series—particularly the character-driven depth of The Owl House, where personality made the characters shine. I wanted to get this story out there for fellow fans to enjoy.

My Journey with The Owl House:

I am a big Owl House fan. I still remember the day when I was quite bored and had nothing to watch on my YouTube TV. Then the algorithm recommended The Owl House S1 EP 1 to me—"A Lying Witch and a Warden."

Now honestly speaking, I am your theoretical "show freak." I had watched tons and tons of anime and cartoon my whole life. So I wasn't really expecting much. Since I didn't have anything to watch, I clicked on the recommended video and started watching, thinking that it would be a good pastime. But about 10 minutes in, I was floored: the animation alone had me thinking that maybe it was a shonen anime (dub). The sheer world-building scope of the world reminded me of the popular anime Danmachi.

I decided right then and there to binge it, and man... that was the best thing I ever did in my entire life. In fact, I loved it so much that immediately after finishing it, I immediately rewatched the first 17 episodes of S1 and also separately rewatched each episode of S3 three times (no bluff here—I am being honest; in fact, I can challenge you to call me to your home and ask me anything regarding The Owl House).
