Moungi Bawendi’s story fascinated me from the moment I discovered it. As someone who loves science and has always been curious about how things work, I found something deeply familiar in the way his curiosity shaped his life. But what touched me most was not his Nobel Prize or his scientific achievements. It was his relationship with failure.

I have often questioned whether I am good enough, especially when I face something difficult or when I am afraid of failing. Learning about Moungi’s journey made me realize how dangerous that fear can be. Failure did not prove that he was not meant for science.
