Velvet lies review!

"This story is still in its early stages, however, the author has done a recognizable job of describing this new world of characters. From the description of the navy blue suit to the striking confidence the author does a good job describing how the characters are perceived by the other characters! This really helps to build the world. My note to the author: Build tension more in the main characters. Not necessarily between each other, (I'm sure you'll eventually get to that) but more of their internal wants and fears. Sometimes it can be a challenge to add that into a story written in 3rd person but, it can be done, and I believe you can do it! I hope the author continues to write and build this world!"

Good idea but the story is hard to understand

"The idea is good. I like the rich trope where everyone is plotting against each other this is one of my favorite types of books or TV shows. The problem here, we don't really understand why and how. The way the information is introduced isn't appealing at all. Too many names. I read all the chapters, and I could understand it was about rivalry, but it's very confusing because two of those family are literally flirting in their first scene together, which is completely contradictory. Too much dialogue, and we don't understand what they are doing. In general, the idea is great, but it's too confusing"
