The story avoids dividing everyone too simply into heroes and villains. The atmosphere is one of its strongest elements. Failing technology, limited resources, and hidden truths create constant tension, while the world-building develops naturally without overwhelming the reader. The dialogue feels believable, reveals conflicting perspectives, and strengthens both the relationships and the moral complexity. The pacing is well balanced, moving between emotional moments, gradual discoveries, political tension, and sudden danger.
