An intresting read
"Gilded Veins gave me serious Hunger Games vibes in the best possible way. The deadly-sins-based society, brutal Trials, and all the secrets surrounding the Victors kept me hooked. I really liked Maya, and the mystery around the Sanctum kept getting more interesting as the story went on. And that line— “The Sanctum was not searching for perfection. It was collecting it.” Probably mine favourite quote so far in read.I am still reading the book as of now so might come back later and update this review. "

Good start
"Ok I just finished, I'll write a review 🫶🏼, tbh the beginning was good but I didn't understand the arena and the games very well, I thought it would be different than hunger games because there's many moments that bring confusion. Like "the arena is alive" what does it mean? It is dystopian yes but it is high fantasy, or what is it? Then they wake up in a sort of hospital then we learn about "victors" such we never heard from, since the beginning of the story. I was really thinking about giving up but I continued because I was curious. The beginning was very good I got lost at the arena and the different games that were not linked to each other at all. We don't understand if it dead games until suddenly bam a chapter randomly start by that when they trained for like hours only? 😭 Don't mind me I'm a raging btch but yeah the story could have been more exploited, it has potential and the author should works more on the consistency and the outline in general. Overall it was a nice ride! "
