Summary

💕 Westbrook — Season 1 Summary Kiara Bennett starts at Westbrook Academy and quickly becomes friends with Sophie Grant. She soon meets Jayden Parker, the popular basketball captain, and the two immediately clash. During a basketball game, Jayden catches Kiara after she gets bumped, and someone photographs the moment. The picture makes it look like they're dating, causing a huge school rumor. To stop the gossip, Kiara and Jayden decide to fake-date. They create rules, including no jealousy and absolutely no catching feelings. Their fake relationship begins during a school amusement-park trip, but spending so much time together makes their feelings grow. Their friends Sophie and Marcus notice before they do. Eventually, Jayden admits that pretending no longer feels fake. Kiara realizes she feels the same, so they stop pretending and become a real couple. The season ends with Kiara, Jayden, Sophie, and Marcus returning to the amusement park. Kiara and Jayden recreate the photograph that started everything—but this time, their relationship is real. 📸💕

THE GIRL WHO WALKED INTO CHAOS

CHAPTER ONE

THE GIRL WHO WALKED INTO CHAOS

Kiara Bennett had been at Westbrook Academy for exactly eleven minutes when she realized two things.

First, she was definitely going to get lost.

Second, she was probably going to get in trouble.

“Excuse me,” she said, stopping a passing student. “Do you know where Room 204 is?”

The student pointed down the hallway.

“Second floor. Left.”

“Thanks!”

Kiara turned.

Walked three steps.

Then stopped.

“Wait... which way is the second floor?”

The student had already disappeared.

Kiara sighed.

“Great.”

That was how her first day at Westbrook Academy began.

Not with a dramatic entrance.

Not with instant popularity.

But with Kiara wandering around the school holding a timetable upside down.

Eventually, she found her classroom.

And that’s where she met Sophie Grant.

Sophie looked at Kiara’s timetable.

“It’s upside down.”

Kiara looked down.

“Oh.”

Sophie smiled.

“You’re new, aren’t you?”

“Is it that obvious?”

“Only slightly.”

And just like that, Kiara had her first friend.

She didn’t know it yet, but Sophie was about to become the person who would spend the entire year saying:

“Kiara, that’s a terrible idea.”

And Kiara would spend the entire year ignoring her.
