Introduction: The Swashbuckler
Introduction: The Swashbuckler
Oh, Elf Swashbuckler
Your tale hasn’t been told yet
Rewind back
Where soot and cannonfire echo
You don’t care for merit
You left your life behind
Yet you haven’t met your soulmate
With chains, you are bound
Forever sealing love’s embrace.

Introduction: The Unorthodox Elf Known as Creed
"Orion isn’t short of crazy sailors floating around the open seas.” Shadowman balances his body on the coin-slot boat ride he “acquired” from the latest otherworlder hall. He wears a pirate uniform while he valorously presents his sword with a price tag of seven otherworlder dollars. The ride stops in his library, making the Shadowman twitch.
*Bang*
Shadowman punches the ride, making it rock again.
“Mother and Father seem to like this elf known as Creed. He’s everything that they adore—different from the norm, not just an empty template to fill.” Shadowman hops down the ride, kicking it into oblivion.
*Explode*
“The Sentients of the world hammered this one with expectations: a title, a job he never asked for, a wife he never loved.” Shadowman skipped to his library of tomes, looking for the right catalog. He found a shelf labeled in crayon, with a crudely drawn blond elf kissing a dwarf labeled: Forbidden Romances.
“Most would say he has it all—looks, swagger, and the aura of those action heroes otherworlders love so much—but there’s more to this swashbuckler than the opinion of others,” Shadowman bows to the audience, presenting his point finger.
“Explosions, defeat, and dishonor are worthy enough to find the one—let’s start the show.” Shadowman sits on his chair, ready to tell the reader the tale of Creed.
