Naruto: Ketsuno Eyes of the Dragon Blood God

Summary

In the year 47 of Konoha, in a place where no living being could live or survive, lived a clan that had been banished and imprisoned in the Valley of Hell, in the Land of Hot Springs. As time passed, that clan dwindled to fewer and fewer members, and at the rate they were going, they were doomed to disappear in that uninhabitable territory. But all this changed with the birth of this child. We'll see if he manages to survive and rescue his clan, or if he will fall and perish as in the original story. Let's find out.

Chapter 1: Where am I?

It was an ordinary day, just like always in the sad life of our protagonist. Tomás had been fighting leukemia for three years. Every day felt like it could be his last, but he kept desperately fighting to survive. He longed to do so many things with his family and friends, to go out for walks again without worries, but unfortunately, it could not be.

During his chemotherapy session, he didn’t even know if it was his tenth, fifteenth, or twentieth anymore. Tomás felt that it would finally be over. “Maybe I can’t beat you… leukemia,” he thought as he slowly closed his eyes and died at 3:00 a.m.

Everything turned black.

But then… he saw a light.

As he crossed it, he saw something strange: blonde people… three women.

“Wait… I’m not dead? What’s happening? Don’t tell me I was reborn… so what I read while I was in bed was real,” Tomás thought, shocked.

One of the women assisting the birth said:

—Lady Akemi, it’s a boy.

—Yes, Lady Akemi, it’s a boy… but how strange, why isn’t he crying?

Before Tomás could think further, he suddenly felt a slap on his butt.

The pain made him furious. He had never imagined that being reborn would start like this as a baby. He thought he would at least be five years old… or maybe he had confused reincarnation with transmigration.

Before he could process it, he received another slap, and he finally started crying so they would stop hitting him.

—Stop hitting my baby! Give him to me, please! —said Akemi, exhausted but with a voice full of joy she could not hide.

She looked at her newborn with deep love.

—Your name will be Ketsuno… Ketsuno Chinoike.

Tomás, feeling his new mother’s affection, experienced a strange warmth and a strong bond. However, he found it strange that the three women looked so similar, almost as if they were family. It felt suspicious… even more so when he heard his name. But when he heard his surname, he froze completely and stopped crying.

“Chinoike… why does that sound familiar… I’ve heard it before…”

Before he could think further, a deep sleep overwhelmed him. After all, he was just a newborn; thinking was already becoming impossible.

“Why was I reborn as a baby…?” he thought before falling asleep.

Akemi, seeing her baby deeply asleep, gently hugged him against her chest with pure love.

Before she could continue holding him, a nervous voice was heard:

—Akemi-chan, has our baby been born?

—Yes, Clan Leader, please come in —one of the assisting women replied.

The man quickly entered the room and dismissed the two women, staying alone with Akemi and the baby.

Akemi looked at him with a soft but emotional smile.

—This is our son, Chihiro.

Chihiro, overwhelmed with emotion, immediately approached.

—He’s beautiful… Akemi-chan, he’s perfect.

Just as he was about to come closer and take him, Akemi spoke in a calm but firm voice:

—Darling, leave him with me. He was just born. He needs to sleep.

Chihiro hesitated.

—But Akemi-chan… I want to see him… hold him… he’s my son, my heir…

Before he could finish, a dark aura began to emanate from Akemi. Her eyes, once violet, turned completely red with a white line in the pupil.

It was the Ketsuryūgan.

—Chihiro… I told you, later.

Chihiro felt his body slowly becoming immobilized, unable to move.

—Alright… Akemi-chan… I understand… I was just excited… it’s my first time being a father…

Akemi softened her aura and deactivated the Ketsuryūgan.

She laughed softly.

—It’s my first time being a mother too… but we did it together. I love you.

—I love you too, Akemi-chan.

Chihiro kissed her forehead and hugged her gently, careful not to wake the baby.

Akemi and Chihiro held each other tightly, taking care not to disturb the child.

—Akemi-chan… I’m so happy to have you and our baby, but… what are we going to do? I’m worried —Chihiro said.

Akemi looked at him calmly.

—Chihiro-kun… I don’t want to start with that right now. I know the clan’s conditions and the place where we live are getting worse every day, but I feel our child can change this.

Chihiro frowned, worried.

—Akemi… why do you say that? He’s just a baby, I mean our son…

Before he could continue speaking, Akemi activated her Ketsuryūgan again. Her dark aura reappeared.

—He’s our son… hehe —Chihiro said awkwardly, correcting himself.

Akemi sighed.

—Understood, Chihiro… but I see something special in him. Look more closely, activate your Ketsuryūgan.

Chihiro nodded and also activated his Ketsuryūgan.

Although he still doubted, thinking his wife might be delirious, he followed her words. The clan’s conditions were getting worse every day, but even so… the child was another mouth to feed in that infernal place. However, before he could continue thinking, as he looked at his son, he became completely stunned.

—Akemi-chan… my eyes are showing me this… is it real? —Chihiro said excitedly.

Akemi nodded.

—I was also stunned when I saw it. His amount of iron in the blood is immense. He could easily awaken the first stage of the Ketsuryūgan, and by the age of twelve he could have it fully matured.

Chihiro nodded strongly.

—Very well… he really is my son.

Akemi coughed.

—Heh… heh… our son, Chihiro.

Then Chihiro, leaving sadness behind for a moment, said:

—But enough sadness. Instead of focusing on the future or the clan’s talent, let’s enjoy this moment.

—Yes, Chihiro-kun —she replied.

Chihiro hugged his wife even tighter, carefully holding the baby, and gave her a gentle kiss.

And so, in this infernal place where they had been exiled the Valley of Hell in the Land of Hot Springs a small child had brought them a moment of peace… and a new beginning.
