What do you do when the person you love is still beside you-but time has already begun taking him away? Kaila and Ali are young, deeply in love, and completely different. She finds beauty in autumn rain, quiet evenings, and the small rituals of everyday life. He belongs to sunshine, movement, and the sea. Somehow, those differences have never pulled them apart. They have only made their love stronger. Then one ordinary day changes everything. Ali collapses at work, and the diagnosis that follows leaves Kaila facing a future she cannot imagine: an aggressive brain tumor, limited time, and the unbearable possibility of losing the man around whom she has built her entire world. As hospital corridors replace their peaceful home and hope begins to give way to fear, Kaila meets Iveydi-a mysterious man with unsettling green eyes, strange beliefs, and an understanding of life, death, and God that seems to reach far beyond anything human. The closer death comes, the more Kaila begins to question everything she once believed about love, faith, fate, and what may exist beyond the life we know. I Know You'll Never Come Back is an emotional psychological novel with elements of mystical realism-a story about devotion, grief, mortality, and the desperate human desire to hold on when letting go feels impossible. Some people enter our lives and become part of us. And some goodbyes never truly end.

lblomme: I always love a story where good overcomes evil. The sad start, the growth, and ultimate strength of the main character was well done. The story never lagged and ultimately delivered a happy ending even for characters who were less than stellar. Well done!

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
