Discovering that he arranged everything for Rose, believes they have always loved each other, and has absolutely no plan B made him unsettling, vulnerable, and strangely endearing. Sir, if your perfect interdimensional romantic plan ends with your soulmate attempting to return her dinner and escape the building, the plan may require minor revisions. The POV change added so much to the mystery, and I am now invested in the strange family, the different universes, and George’s obvious position of authority. The premise has thoroughly caught my attention. I need to know what Kevin remembers, why George can talk, and whether Kevin can stop arranging destiny long enough to let Rose choose him for herself. "
