Introduction
I wrote these poems years ago-the most recent one was written 14 years ago.
Over time, they became part of my inspiration.
When I first started writing Willow Haven, I quickly realized there was far too much story for one book. Everything seemed to connect, and the more I wrote, the more I realized that the story wasn't meant to be contained in a single novel.
Then I started noticing something I never expected.
My poems were finding their way into the stories.
And that's when I realized this was a story I had been holding onto for a very long time.
As I continued writing Willow Haven, I knew Adonis needed to have her own story too. I wanted to tell the beginning-the love story of Raven and Adonis, the destruction of the Stones, the Seven, the prophecy, and everything that eventually leads into the world of Willow Haven.
So I began writing the two stories alongside each other.
And then, because apparently I enjoy making things complicated... 😂
I realized the story was bigger than I had first imagined.
That's when Adonis Haven: A Love Story Untold was born.
This book will not be shared until the other two stories are completed, because there are things within it that I want readers to experience in the right order.
So, if you've joined me through the Willow Haven Series or started with Adonis Haven, bear with me.
This is a slow-burn story.
It won't happen fast. 😂
There are mysteries to uncover, stories within stories, characters to meet, hearts to break, and hopefully a few moments that make you want to throw the book across the room before picking it right back up. ❤️
