Chapter 1

I let out a yawn, I looked at my clock, it was pass three A.M., I could feel my eyes get really heavy. I let out another yawn as I quietly dragged my feet towards my dresser to get a pair of Pj's before I go to bed, and trying not to step on my dog, who was sleeping on the floor near my door. I open one of my dressers drawers and grabbed a pair of blue Pj's pants which had white poke dots on them and then I grab the Pj's long sleeves fluffy top, which is a nice light blue color, and quickly and quietly got dress trying not to make any noise because my step mom has super hearing, and I don't want to get in trouble for staying up late pass my bed time. I then sneak into my bed covers which are a nice cobalt blue. But at night my bubble blue painted walls looked dark grey bluish, almost a deep blue lake. I could feel myself becoming uneasy.

"Maybe watching that last episode of Ghost Hunt was a really bad idea, I'm probably going to get zero sleep." I thought to myself.

As I closed my eyes, my other dog who was sleeping downstairs, began to bark and whine. I could hear my step mom open up her bedroom door which she shared with my dad. I didn't make a move as I watch as she walked by my doorway and went down stairs to let Jack out, while Nicky popped her head up looking around the room, but quickly placed her head back down. Then I could hear my step mom tell Jack to come back in. I could hear her footsteps walking up the stair case at a steady pace. Then she came to my door, I quickly closed my eyes and didn't move and let myself have even breathing. I could hear my door creak open and my step mom poked her head in to see if I am a sleep. She didn't notice anything because I shut down the computer before going to sleep. She then closed the door to my bedroom and went back to her bedroom.

That is when sleep caught me in its web, but as soon as you close your eyes that is when the Nightmare strikes.
