I chase the scrawny brown rabbit as fast as I can. The small creature dances between tree, and tree. My black paws slam along the weeds and grass. The rabbit takes a sharp turn into a small hollow area of an oak tree. The hunt is lost. I let a sigh escape, another day with no meal. I pace back to the small den that I managed to chase a cat out. I stop to glance up at the sky, I see what appears to be a star falling to the earth. But the odd thing it is day. There’s no way a star fox could be out at day. They crawl the skies at night. But this one is on fire. The poor star fox is falling to the ground, near the two-walker city. Where the strange animals that wander on two paws. With their furless faces, and their odd language. The most confusing part is their objects. The walk around staring down at odd glowing stones. I always would think they would get crushed by their giant odd shaped stones that they ride in.
I glance once more at the sky, screams and tears are heard from the two-walker’s odd campsite. The flying star fox crashes into one of their tall skinny dens, with the reflecting crystals. More star foxes fall with their white coats now orange and glowing. Some other animals come out of hiding around me. Confusion hangs in the air. A howl sounds, the weekly meeting.
