All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Season One - New Tides Daisy Shaw came to Shelly Cove with one goal: keep her head down, keep her secrets, and survive the year. Then she made friends. Between school, unexpected encounters, and two boys who couldn't be more different, Daisy discovers that starting over might mean more than she ever imagined. For the first time in a long time, she believes she could be normal again. But when friendships start to feel like something more, healing gets complicated. "Sometimes home isn't the place you were born. Sometimes it's the place that teaches you how to live again." Foreword

Welcome to A Daisy’s Prerogative.

Please note that this story is set in the Southern Hemisphere and may include South African regional terminology, spelling, customs, and expressions.

At its heart, this is a story about healing, friendship, found family, first love, and discovering where you truly belong.

While written with warmth and hope, this story also explores themes that some readers may find emotional, including grief, trauma, survivor’s guilt, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), depression, anxiety, media intrusion after a tragedy, and references to abuse.

This story is written within a broader created world of a seaside town called Shelly Cove.

Thank you for joining Daisy on her journey.
