What is your opinion?
Made me giggle
"I really love the concept and the humour. The way it was written really puts a twist on the classic rhyme. Although not the most complex of stories it's a great way to put a smile on your face. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a heap full of giggles and nostalgia."
Sooo cute!
"A very quite little story about Mr and Mrs Dish and his suspicions of her cheating, because their daughter is a tea cup. Leave it to Mrs Goose to save the day. Sooo funny! If you haven't already, why not hop over and have a read?"
That tickled my Goose.
"A charming, quirky, and (above all) funny little tale. Worth every second it takes to read. While not, perhaps, the deepest of stories, you get a real visceral sense of them, and the nostalgia invoked by the classical allusions fleshes out the characters very effectively."
Hey Diddle Diddle
"Wow. That was the most hilarious and untamed recreation of stories that I've ever read! You just made my night! That was...something thing else. Thank you for birthing such a story. I loved the way you played around with these old nursery rhymes and gave them new life. Your voice clearly came up in it and it is quite an impressive voice."
Mother Goose
"This was too cute for words. You had me giggling from the opening lines. As for the teapot, maybe someone should have a few words with the milk jug. lol Your style is very engaging. Keep up the excellent work."
But Why?
"How did the cow jumping over the moon affect their marriage? Inquiring minds want to know. Can't say that Mother Goose was a very good marriage counselor though. And is hey diddle diddle "bad" words? Very cute. SusieB"
Put a smile on my face!
"Very charming idea and it's fun to match up all the references with their nursery rhymes, but the execution could have been better, I think. Sometimes I lost track of who was speaking, which I feel like more description could have helped. There were just a few mistakes in spelling and grammar I noticed, but I am a stickler for that sort of thing."
