Summary

Asha Sinclair and Darcie Bennett make a living investigating the dead. Asha can see and hear ghosts, while Darcie can sense the emotions they leave behind. Usually, the ghosts are the easy part. But after an investigation at the former Moss Grove Asylum follows them home, impossible phone calls and buried secrets begin pulling them back toward the building and its history. The deeper they investigate, the less the official story makes sense, and the more everything seems connected to Asha’s own past, including the serial-killer parents who disappeared fifteen years ago. Between hauntings, questionable investigation methods, complicated feelings, and a mystery that refuses to stay buried, Asha and Darcie are about to discover that Moss Grove has been keeping secrets for decades. The ghosts are usually the easy part. It’s the living they have to worry about.
