Voices of the Night
She lies there in the dark starring at the ceiling.
Trying to block out the voices that plague her mind.
She knows that if she shows any signs of giving in that they are winning.
She can't sleep for fear of them taking over her mind making her truly insane.
So she stares blankly at the ceiling as she listens to the voices that taunt and try to scare her.
This has been going on for hours now and she's getting tired of it.
Almost as if the voices sensed her emotions they started to quiet down and go away.
Much to her pleasure cause now she can get some sleep.
But just as she was closing her eyes she felt as if someone was on top of her staring at her.
So she opened her eyes, just a little freaked out to find no one there. But she still felt someone on top of her.
She felt this someone move on top of her and almost like she could see them they leaned down to where there lips were by her ear.
And it whispered in her ear " They are watching you, and when they come to get you they will kill you". She just knew that it was smirking at her pale face and how scared she was. It whispered a goodnight and disappeared. Finally she couldn't take it any more she cried and screamed out loud. Till finally she couldn't take it anymore and she passed out.
