Harshit: Beyond the Divine

Chapter 1 — The Ordinary Day

The sun rose over the Kingdom of Fate, painting the city in golden light.

The streets were already crowded. Merchants shouted from their stalls, children ran between the buildings, and warriors walked through the gates carrying weapons from distant lands.

Among them was a boy named Harshit.

He looked completely ordinary.

At least, that's what everyone thought.

Harshit walked through the crowded street with his hands in his pockets, looking half-asleep.

“Harshit!”

He stopped.

A girl with white hair approached him, her expression completely unimpressed.

Alya.

She crossed her arms. “You're late again.”

Harshit shrugged. “I'm not late. You're just early.”

“You were supposed to be here twenty minutes ago.”

“Exactly. Twenty minutes early.”

Alya stared at him.

“Your logic is terrible.”

“Still better than yours.”

Before Alya could respond, another voice came from behind them.

“Can you two argue somewhere else?”

They turned.

Aryan stood there, looking annoyed.

Harshit smiled. “Perfect timing. The stealth master has arrived.”

Aryan sighed. “Don't start.”

Alya smirked. “He's been waiting all morning.”

The three continued walking through the city, unaware that something strange was happening beyond the kingdom's walls.

Far away, beneath an ancient ruin buried deep underground, a massive stone door trembled.

Dust fell from its surface.

Symbols that had remained dark for thousands of years began to glow.

Then—

CRACK.

A thin line appeared across the door.

Something was waking up.

Something that the world had forgotten.

And somewhere above it, Harshit suddenly stopped walking.

He felt a strange pressure in the air.

For just a moment...

He heard a voice.

“The age of the gods is not over.”

Harshit turned around.

Nothing was there.

“Harshit?” Alya asked.

He stared toward the distant mountains.

“...Nothing.”

But deep beneath the earth, another ancient symbol began to glow.
