Endearing

"I stumbled upon this short excerpt and read it in one sitting. The amount of text shared did not allow me to become familiar with the plot or the characters of the story, yet I enjoyed the endearing humorous banter between them. The dialog flowed naturally as among old friends. Technically speaking, the text is well constructed and the grammar flawless. The style of writing gave me a kind of Agatha Christiesque feel and while I have no idea where this story is going, I am certainly imagining some kind of intrigue or mystery within it.
